Seat Counters - 2024/25

Wasn’t the 18-25 allocation initially meant to be 5% of the total allocation? There are just under 1100 tickets left meaning that around 700 tickets have sold today with criteria still at 29k!
No,it has always been out of the loyalty point system.
The fairer way would have been the 5% split across the all the groups who receive a allocation.
Regarding your 2nd point, there is no way they have sold 700 tickets today at the criteria set but I don't know if the full 1800 tickets went onsale at 10am.
90 tickets have sold to18/25
Less than 90 tickets have been sold to juniors as they are still available to them.
So if the full allocation did go onsale, someone is fiddling the figures as there are not over 550 supporters with more than 29000 points

Nobody knows do they, outside of the club? My guess would be a bit higher. Low hundreds maybe. Last I heard there were still 26 Superbia who would I suppose technically come in to that category.

Also of course, it probably accounts for nobody in reality, but in theory you could be on the absolute maximum points possible and have not been to a single away game in three or four years and counting.
Your 2nd paragraph shows the futility of ditching the points system as it allows the people who were at the top to remain at the top.
How anyone at City and the city matters team didn't see the folly of their decision at the time beggars belief.

Tickets do go much further down the point scale for the less attractive games than before (so the no away points decision works to some extent) but the Derby/Liverpool etc seem to sell out higher than before. Whether that’s more corporates, club staff etc I don’t know.

When the club are putting the criteria at 32000 as a starting point you know the system is being abused, for context, that is virtually not missing a game for 23 years, platinum, and every cup scheme, I believe it’s to create the illusion that there are loads of people on that amount of points, when in truth it can be no more than 50 or so, it’s completely misleading
Why can't the club show us a list of how many season ticket holders we have and how many are in each points category. It's obviously they have something to hide.and just adds fuel to the conspiracy theory. CTID

Because that would open an away ticket Pandora’s Box.

Pandora's box is a metaphor for something that brings about great troubles or misfortune, but also holds hope. In Greek mythology, Pandora's box was a gift from the gods to Pandora, the first woman on Earth. It contained all the evils of away ticket allocations, which were released when Pandora opened the box before every away game.

Not having a pop at you Franny, but do you honestly think the club want to tell the fans how they are allocating away tickets, to who, and why.

It will only get worse when the new North stand opens, including new hospitality areas and hospitality packages.

@Alex - City Matters Why isn’t there at the very least transparency on the numbers on points? England Travel Supporters Club have a caps table so you can see where tickets are going based on each away allocation.

It would stop a lot of the hearsay and innuendo.
I have asked for this on repeated occasions, including at the last Ticketing Sub Group. The Club have never progressed this.

I have just covered this point on the Ticket Point Sales Monitoring thread.

A lot of missing blues today in the away end
Not sure what you mean by that.
No empty seats near us and we sold out as per usual for an away game.
Now sat in the services on the way back along with many others.
Teams just going through a bit of a bad patch like every team does.
Lots of games left so far too early for throwing the towel in.
