Seat Counters - 2024/25

United sold out literally bang on 4pm, I couldn't have refreshed any quicker, said there was 2 left but by the time I clicked on it gone.

So annoying to being so close to getting one

Meanwhile, huge game at home tomorrow in the battle for a CL spot against a direct rival in that race - and theres tons of spares available all over the ground....which at £63/£61 for an Adult and £35 for a kid isnt surprising. The clubs pricing for these games is absolutely insane
Put my lads on the exchange for Brighton (he can’t get back this weekend from uni) on Monday, still there

The majority of the lads and ladies going to Old Trafford will be there though, admittedly some won’t :-(

I would say each category is 20 quid over the top for this game, it’s laughable how greedy our owners have become. If I didn’t have a season ticket I would be finished, not a chance i would pay over 60 quid to watch Brighton at home. A true reflection is the Facebook site, they are going as low as 20/25 quid

So there’s going to be a couple of thousand empty seats tomorrow, yet the club could easily have sold an extra few thousand season tickets or even sold them to matchday fans back in the summer. These tickets must be a mixture of SC holders putting their tickets up for sale and or returns from “partner” web sites. Either way the prices are ridiculous and this doesn’t bode well for filling the new seats. If I didn’t have a SC there is no way I’m paying over sixty dabs for Brighton at home.

£88 for a dad to bring a kid tomorrow in the east or west 3rd tier, and you'd need to have paid £55 in membership to get those "discounted" prices.
Our ticket sales and pricing policies are killing our club.
By reports we are paying Marmoush £270k per week, we was on €40k in Frankfurt. Did we really need to pay him so much? Surely he'd have come for half that, kvartsheilia is on about £150k per week in PSG, he's a better player IMHO. Squeezing and extra £10 to £15 a ticket off the matchday fans is worth maybe £250k per home game, so say £125k per week.
We really should reign in salaries and stop screwing the fans. Who else would pay marmoush that kinda money? Paying them a bit less can mean lower prices and a full ground with a better atmosphere. Deaf ears though....it's so short sighted. Tourist fans come for the buzz....but that market dries up very quickly if there is no buzz!

Tickets are available for £30 for adults.
Do the thousands of people who wanted a season ticket not want to go? After all, they would have had a ticket to go if they had got a season ticket

I reckon that the Seat Counters' anti-flapping campaign this season where we spend every Friday telling inferiority complex riddled blues that the game is sold out, and explaining the Seat Exchange system, is paying dividends. I haven't seen a single flap for Brighton yet. Well done Blues.

The majority of the respondents to the helpful 1894 survey (IIRC) wanted season cards that allowed them to miss most games.

You’re talking out of your arse. The cheapest adult ticket for tomorrow is £61. The cheapest concession for under 18s is £35.

Tomorrow is:

£61-78 for adults
£35-48 for children

That’s £192 for a family of four, or £183 for three mates, at the cheapest. And anyone would do well to find seats together.

ticket prices are ridiculous at the moment. I can't see any reason for 90 minutes of football to cost more than £30/40. tomorrow will be a sorry sight, empties dotted all around the ground. hopefully it's a kick up the arse for those who make all the decisions that something has to change.

A lot of people wouldn’t have the first idea where to look for things like that. A lot of others wouldn’t trust it.
Fair enough mate but I have been highlighting the most reliable page for years. I've done that less frequently over recent weeks because the Ticket Compliance Manager wouldn't want Blues getting more affordable tickets.

There's ways of minimising risks. Ask for vouches / recommendations for sellers. Look at their FB accounts and see if they have been on the platform a long time and have lots of friends etc.

I can sort a seat close to the halfway line for tomorrow for £25.

Tickets are available for £20/£25 on the Face Value pages.
I wouldn’t know where to start and would only buy from the club or someone I knew. I once sold an extra ticket valued at £50 to someone outside the ground for £25 about ten years ago, it was ten to three.

I once sold a ticket at Maine Road for £8. Tout gave me a tenner and I had to give him £2 change. Tenner was bent!

Brilliant.

Each to their own. Just out of interest are you a season card holder or are you faced with paying £61/35?
