Seat Counters 25/26

The product has also been damaged by VAR. Too much stopping and starting. Ruins the thrill of a goal. Most of us don’t want the NFL. It’s what happens when you have a moron like Richard Masters in charge. It is the PL which has allowed PGMOL to re-referee matches. Ticket pricing is only one factor.
Ticket pricing and access to them, coupled with not knowing when a match will be played is the main factor for the majority of supporters.

Agreed. The ticketing comms is terrible. No on trusts it because of the lack of transparency. The Viagogo deal seems very dodgy. We make it very difficult for occasional purchasers. I think transport and parking is the problem at night games. Just heard that Briscoe Lane has collapsed. I have to drive tonight for health reasons. Fucking hell.

Seasoncard prices are relatively reasonably priced when compared to other clubs.

In fact, they're so reasonably priced that some supporters buy them in the knowledge that they can miss those unattractive winter midweek fixtures when the transport infrastructure is shite, and they might even get some money back from the club if the ticket is resold.

As Tottenham are laughably claiming a 59,000 attendance for last night I suspect that we're not alone

At the moment we have a problem relating to midweek Cup games. We have always had this problem but it has got worse this season. We know from the Ticket Office that seasoncard holders are not going to midweek Cup games. Most likely that's a combination of price and malaise. You can get local matchday fans into the ground on a CL night but not for a League Cup tie, and you can't reduce ticket prices that much for league games because of season ticket holders. Look what happened vs Fulham. All the £30 returns have been snapped up.

My seasoncard works out at £48 per game. If they reduced ticket prices to £25, I would not renew my season ticket. They need to freeze/ reduce season ticket prices for next season, and then they can reduce matchday prices.
Don't think it works out at £48 per game for a seat in SS3. Up the back they are less than £400, so just over £20 per game.
Also it's not fair to compare a proposed discounted Fulham midweek price to a "per game" season ticket which also gets you a guaranteed seat for United, Liverpool, Arsenal, Chelsea, Spurs, last home game, boxing day etc..and priority ahead of matchday for UCL knock outs and cup games.
Agree that we have major midweek problem, we're not alone though. Don't think season ticket holders, with all of the above benefits, should have any issue with the club selling heavily discounted midweek games on the basis that it starts to get too close to, or better than, a "per game" season ticket price.
Apples and oranges..

Pep have a fucking WORD with your mate, Soriano, we ain’t a club with millions of members from all over the world like your beloved barcelona, we are a predominantly working class club supported by fans with other financial commitments (many of whom he has already driven away) - if you lower the prices they will come
What about the thousands of working class fans in the stadium that don't sing/get behind the team ?

talk of ticketing issues etc which is true but there’s also a lot of people who just can’t be arsed because it’s Fulham in midweek

Did Jack Gaughan point out that most of those tickets had already been sold and were returns.Or is he just having a cheap shot at our club.
Speaking of cheap, if City had priced those exchange seats a lot more sensibly instead of £53, £51, and £43 for adults and £25 and £23 for kids, then plenty of what's currently showing as available would've sold. We saw it with the returned Fulham allocation and the £30 adult tickets - all 1300 or so of those have sold.

Seriously, what planet are those in charge of ticket prices on to charge those prices for a midweek game in February against opposition that aren't a big draw? They can't even use the excuse that this is a rearranged match due to involvement in the cups or whatever because this was always down as a midweek game since the fixtures first came out last June.

I cant see any reactions from around the country at the amount of empty seats at Everton and Tottenham last night.
Just for info to buy a membership at Everton is 60 pounds.
It appears every club is ripping their fans off.
More obvious how many West Ham fans had fucked off before rags scored
Mind you the amount of time added on … is there such thing as having to catch the last tube home ?

It's a bigger problem for us than most clubs because if you don't have a seasoncard you don't get to the biggest games and cup finals which we have every year. Also, 90% of our games are on the TV. The pair next to me make about 60% of games and miss the cup games despite being on the schemes. There are loads of blues like that. My Dad was when he got old.

I agree that some fans can't be arsed but a lot of football fans plan to go to matches well in advance of said match taking place, so while £30 for a pair of tickets IS a bargain, many people won't be able to attend at such short notice as they've already made other plans.

Yeah I'm not disagreeing mate and I'm probably only a couple of seasons away myself from binning certain games (the Newcastle 8pm game will suffer loads of no shows with Piccadilly Station closed)

For the moment I'll just complain and still attend,. but that won't last for much longer

I was just making a comparison between all the comments about Tottenham having spare seats, and their actual published attendance

Tickets remaining for home v Salford this Saturday in the FA Cup:

Level 0: 1,174

Level 1: 1,098

Level 3: 4,000 estimated (City have taken off the Colin Bell Level 3 Stand off sale yesterday)

Total: 6,272 tickets remaining.

Salford's away allocation is 5,236.
In regards to Salfords away end, they've sold blocks 313-316. 317 is currently on sale and 318 is yet to go on sale.

Based on this, I'd guess they've sold 3,500 - 4,000.

And they don't need to be £25/£30 for most league games as they sell out and are generally full. However, tonight when there are clearly thousands of empty seats, why not just set ticket prices like they have for the returned section in SS3 and have sold out. Surely an extra 3/4k fans in the ground paying £30 each is far better than 5k empty seats going to waste, its a fucking no brainer.
I wholeheartedly agree

How can the club resell exchange seats at £25 -£35 ? Especially as they are committed to giving the season ticket holder a 19 of their season card price in the event of the ticket selling ?
They would be making a loss !

Maybe a disclaimer that the club reserves the right to sell the exchange seats at a cheaper price and in this event u get a 19 th of what it sells for ?

Genuinely think the issue around its more linked to the parking situation than pricing

We are playing similar amount of games to previous years, the elephant in the room is the co-op opening and no fucker being able to park anywhere

Taking a family of 4 on public transport to a midweek game in Winter, no thanks

It’s been made miles more inconvenient so people are staying away.

100% this for me. Its what stopped my dad going in the end. The Bournemouth game at the end of last season where we emerged at the same time as the Bruce Springsteen concert was borderline dangerous on Joe Mercer way and getting off the car parks. And it'll be the same in a few weeks when the Newcastle game clashes with one there too.
