Seat Counters 25/26

Here’s a weird seat counting mystery. Tickets sold out as we know very quickly to Citycars holders. I bought on day one and got what I would consider possibly one or the best seats in the house. Block 500, row 1, seat 2, literally right next to the away fans on the half way line on the front row. There was a group all around me, probably about 50, who didn’t arrive until after kick off and didn’t seem to support any team really. They were all Asian, maybe Malaysian or something. They literally didn’t open their mouths all game. It must have been some kind of coach party but who arranged and sold it? And where did the block of tickets come from?

I noticed this aswell Dave. I was in Level 1 and one minute there was a block of empty seats, the next minute they're full.

Wouldn't be surprised if this was some sort of tour? City definitely partner with overseas tourist firms.

Maybe something to do with the sponsors Caribou?

I had groups of people sat near me, who didn’t react to anything, didn’t cheer, didn’t stand up, clap - literally nothing. I thought they might be robots. (Third tier next to the standing section)

They were either Arsenal fans or just randomly invited. Very strange, especially when city fans couldn’t get those tickets.

I initially thought my group were foreign Arsenal fans when they just sat there when we scored. But then at the end of the game most were stoodd up waving the City flags on their seats.

we had 32000 tickets including 2kish in level 2, so within our sections of level 1 and 5 there are still a few 1000 seats that have gone elsewhere. 64000 to the 2 clubs, and 24000 elsewhere, club wembley was predominately Arsenal, and i think it is wrong because the London clubs tend to hoover these tickets up, i wouldn't have a clue on how to get a club wembley ticket, i wonder if any other blues got in there

those extra few thopusand are usually the ones that come back as an "extra allocation" because they haven't been taken up by FA/FL member clubs. But they are only supposed to be sold by the member clubs to City fans. I'm going to hazard a guess here that the fact that we didn't get any extra tickets is because instead of coming back to the clubs Wembley sold or allocated them to agencies. What was significant is that these were arguably the best seats in the entire stadium so I reckon that they could easily have been sold for a premium.

Morning all. Does anyone have any idea how many are left for Chelsea away, please? I don’t qualify until 10am tomorrow.
