Seat Counters 25/26

It’s all I could think about on the way home.
Sleep well Dave we have some big days ahead, the semi final is the ultimate count, Saturday will see a bigger following, I just hope the fans get on board with it and hopefully the club lay on some free buses as a goodwill gesture, it would help those who are struggling and wouldn't be any skin off City's noses

Whats the chances the FA schedule an all London semi on Saturday 3pm and ours will be on Sunday 6:30pm with the London Marathon, Euston closure, a Tube strike and closure of the M6 all on the same day... just saying...
If we get Leeds it should be at Old Trafford. There’s no reason whatsoever for two Northern teams to travel to London for a semifinal.

I agree 100%. I actually went to a dipper v chelsea semi final at the swamp (dont ask) and the atmosphere was incredible, off the scale. However we know the 'reason' is contractual, Club Wembey and FA sponsorships are sold on the basis England, FAC finals and semis etc are all played in that vast, soulless, concrete bowl darn sarf...

I was going to say that then both sets of fans could smash the place up, causing thousands of pounds of improvements.

Unfortunately there is a reason, albeit an idiotic one.
Club Wembley memberships are sold with the two FA Cup SFs as included events. Moving either of them for reasons other than some major non-football related circumstances would be in breach of contract.

I'd say it's quite probable. I genuinely think a lot of these times/dates put on us over the last 15 years or so have been made through pure spite. They fuckin despise us.

Southampton seat count is going to be one for the ages.

Looking forward to the club sticking out an inevitably too harsh criteria early doors, realising the uptake is poor, amending it too late and having to get the BIG flag out again.

I’m off to the gym to get fully prepped for the next couple of weeks hard work

Going to be an amazing seat count for this one. Selling 34K in just under 3 weeks when we don't know yet what day it will be on. I would hope that the club see sense and offer some sensible criteria. I would give any Cup scheme members an additional 4 tickets from day 1. Then the same for season ticket holders/members from day 2. That should get them moving.

I expect the day for each match to be announced tomorrow and ticket news Tuesday, Wednesday latest - but just my guess.
Oops, Bank Holiday, +1 day on those guesses

Yep, they will fuck this one up big style.

Theres no risk of any tickets going to away fans. There’s absolutely no reason whatsoever why they don’t just put the tickets immediately on open sale. None. If they did that they’d sell 35k, get people there who’ve never been to Wembley, and I suspect it would lead to a great atmosphere too as vocal fans would be on the top tier as well s the bottom.

They won’t do it. Your prediction will definitely come true. They’ll base the criteria on the high demand for the Arsenal game and won’t factor in that this game will not have the same demand. With a week to go there will be 10,000 left unsold and it will be too late to sell them.

This one is bound to be a Roller coaster, needs to be 4 tickets per account from the get go. No messing about please city.

As for which side we'll receive, Southampton have been given the West side on their previous 4 visits to Wembley, so I'd say it's highly likely that we'll be on the East Side for this one, better remember the sunnies.

It’s all down to your own needs to some extent I suppose, but my view is that 4 is too many and risks very few being left for citizen members. I think two would be fairer as a compromise.
Let’s see anyway - sooner rather than later hopefully.
