I love the games against Leeds. Outside United, Liverpool and Spurs, I always feel like there’s an edge to it as the next hated rivalry. Always feels like a derby when we play them.1071 showing for Leverkusen but it doesn't look right, with all of these bar a dozen being in the south stand.
Tons left for Leeds too. More than any other premier league game so far at this stage.
We had a count down on this thread today for the last few remaining seats but there were loads of empties and an obvious sign of school giveaways in the north stand. What is going on.
Just so long as they all got a rest - thats what really important here! I mean Cherki for example has played about 4 games all year so he must be shattered; and Donnarumma - he must be knackered chasing referees to the halfway line everytime we concede a goal.Nights like tonight will seriously undermine crowds.
We can all take defeats. We've had a lifetime of them but when the club doesn't take a competition seriously, why should the supporters. Pep was over-thinking again. I think he thought he was being really clever when in fact he was being very stupid. I suppose it's all part of Pep the enigma because we have seen things like this before.
What is the fans boycotted the Gala game and see what Pep thinks. The thought crossed my mind. You can't treat the CL as a League Cup game.Just so long as they all got a rest - thats what really important here! Its apparently "imperative" to finish in the top 4 and qualify for Champions League; then when youre in it you can toss games off like last night because a home game with Leeds 4 days later is the priority.....if we dont win that we might not get in the Champions League of course!
Last night helped me and my son decide we wont be in the CL scheme anymore so ultimately itll save me a few quid and wasting my time on freezing cold winter nights, when the club decides it isnt actually that bothered or committed to winning games in that competition. Ive seen us win the bugger and had been wavering anyway - last night made the decision for me.
Tbh if its freezing bloody cold like last night I may just not bother with it.What is the fans boycotted the Gala game and see what Pep thinks. The thought crossed my mind. You can't treat the CL as a League Cup game.
I am on the Champions league scheme but last night even prior to the score I was sat thinking this isn't for me anymore. Didn't recognise a single face around me , dreadful atmosphere, Kids and tourists everywhere and to top it off got asked to stop shouting and swearing as there where kids around so had to sit silent in the fucking freezing cold watching what was effectively the reserves prancing around half arsed. Don't want to go through that again with the added nuance of being surrounded by a stand full of Galatasaray fans , wont be going. What is the fans boycotted the Gala game and see what Pep thinks. Opted out of all the cup schemes this season for the first ever time , bought a ticket for last night , thanks but no thanks , half arsed performance by players and back room staff earning a fortune.Just so long as they all got a rest - thats what really important here! So still about 400 selling per day.Time for a Brentford count:
L3 - 8708
L2 - 3541
L1 - 4234
Total - 16483
Imagine if the Club made it easy to transfer to friends and family! So still about 400 selling per day.
If we project that it would mean that another 8,400 will get sold, however I'd also expect sales to pick up in the days leading up to the fixture.
Based on this I'd say we can expect a crowd between 45,000 - 50,000
