Seat Counters 25/26

1071 showing for Leverkusen but it doesn't look right, with all of these bar a dozen being in the south stand.

Tons left for Leeds too. More than any other premier league game so far at this stage.
I love the games against Leeds. Outside United, Liverpool and Spurs, I always feel like there’s an edge to it as the next hated rivalry. Always feels like a derby when we play them.

When they’ve been promoted in recent years, my eyes and ears always prick when I think of our games with them.

We had a count down on this thread today for the last few remaining seats but there were loads of empties and an obvious sign of school giveaways in the north stand. What is going on.

Would help if the club actually made it easy to transfer to friends and family rather than seeing tickets going to waste.

Its their loss and more importantly, the teams loss.

Nights like tonight will seriously undermine crowds.

We can all take defeats. We've had a lifetime of them but when the club doesn't take a competition seriously, why should the supporters. Pep was over-thinking again. I think he thought he was being really clever when in fact he was being very stupid. I suppose it's all part of Pep the enigma because we have seen things like this before.

Just so long as they all got a rest - thats what really important here! I mean Cherki for example has played about 4 games all year so he must be shattered; and Donnarumma - he must be knackered chasing referees to the halfway line everytime we concede a goal.

Its apparently "imperative" to finish in the top 4 and qualify for Champions League; then when youre in it you can toss games off like last night because a home game with Leeds 4 days later is the priority.....if we dont win that we might not get in the Champions League of course!

Last night helped me and my son decide we wont be in the CL scheme anymore so ultimately itll save me a few quid and wasting my time on freezing cold winter nights, when the club decides it isnt actually that bothered or committed to winning games in that competition. Ive seen us win the bugger and had been wavering anyway - last night made the decision for me.

What is the fans boycotted the Gala game and see what Pep thinks. The thought crossed my mind. You can't treat the CL as a League Cup game.

Tbh if its freezing bloody cold like last night I may just not bother with it.

I raced back from working in London last night to just make it in time - only for the manager to completely toss it off and the club to not give a professional effort. If Id known what the teamsheet was I genuinely wouldnt have bothered. City clearly werent that arsed so why should the fanbase be?

I am on the Champions league scheme but last night even prior to the score I was sat thinking this isn't for me anymore. Didn't recognise a single face around me , dreadful atmosphere, Kids and tourists everywhere and to top it off got asked to stop shouting and swearing as there where kids around so had to sit silent in the fucking freezing cold watching what was effectively the reserves prancing around half arsed. Don't want to go through that again with the added nuance of being surrounded by a stand full of Galatasaray fans , wont be going.

Opted out of all the cup schemes this season for the first ever time , bought a ticket for last night , thanks but no thanks , half arsed performance by players and back room staff earning a fortune.
So when the management and players decide to take it seriously and put some f***ing effort in I might bother going to a cup game again.

Time for a Brentford count:

L3 - 8708
L2 - 3541
L1 - 4234

Total - 16483
So still about 400 selling per day.

If we project that it would mean that another 8,400 will get sold, however I'd also expect sales to pick up in the days leading up to the fixture.

Based on this I'd say we can expect a crowd between 45,000 - 50,000

The fans were screwed over yesterday.

You don’t pay full wack to go to a CL game and then expect a 2nd string lineup to turn out.

Importantly, it will also put people off from going to such matches again in future.

In the near future we will have another 8000 seats to sell. Whilst most league tickets will get snapped up for most games, CL games will be a much a harder sell and last nights stunt will do little to drag people out of the house midweek when it’s fucking freezing. Last night was such a crass and damaging act of stupidity it makes me wonder after 45 years of following City if it’s worth the hassle. If Pep and the club have stopped giving a shit why should we.

180 Left for Palace - I rekon there'll be 100 or so left for Matchday members on Friday

Just 20 left for Madrid now, when these are gone I rekon that'll be it, can't see them putting more on sale with the deadline being on Friday.
