True, but you've literally included the handful of memorable.big games that we won,.and ignored all the forgettable dead rubbers (Sporting Lisbon and Basel etc) or half hearted performances against teams more interested in damage limitations.don't get it mate. even the home games through the years have been great, bayern 2014 and 2023, madrid 2023, Monaco 2017, psg 2016, barca 2016
By my calculations Napoli will be.our 87th European home game at the Etihad and aside from the 7 COVID fixtures I've attended every fixture.
However I attend out of habit more than anticipation, and without googling would struggle to recall much detail
Different story for the away games which are thoroughly more enjoyable for completely different reasons
My main gripe about the CL is that currently we can't sell out without making the ticketing system more flexible and customer friendly, but the moment we do, we attract more neutrals and opposition supporters
