This just shows how many city fans the club literally have on their doorstep. Get them in the ground for gods sakeI've never seen so many City shirts being worn in Manchester. They're everywhere

I'm not sure where I've mentioned the words "efficient" or "cutting out waste" ?What are you trying to make more efficient? The cost getting there or time? Cost wise walking, but not time wise, so there is not best way as in logistics there are trade-offs, but it is generally about cutting out waste.
Logistics is about making things more efficient and cutting and waste to do so, so your question was a bit misleading if you used the an incorrect word.I'm not sure where I've mentioned the words "efficient" or "cutting out waste" ?
With possibly 8-10 thousand (depending on the opponent) extra seats, City need to get the many extra young City fans that weren't there 15+ years ago, attending the match.
Perhaps, there could be a sizeable number of new North Stand season tickets, issued to local schools, who would then be responsible for which pupils and parents attend ?
As I haven't got to the ground via the City free transport network, I'm unsure how full the buses are ?
Do City and Supporters Clubs need to reach out to local youngsters that this free travel is available ?
If they are full, perhaps City need to increase the number of buses or routes ?
We are all moaning about the empty seats, but at least City have potential, younger fans to attend...
Grammatically, perhaps I was incorrect in asking how, using the word "logistically", you get the young new City fans, into the ground.Logistics is about making things more efficient and cutting and waste to do so, so your question was a bit misleading if you used the an incorrect word.
Growing up there were plenty of match going rags on our street alone. Now they are harder to spot than a scouser without a criminal record.
Loads will say they are reds but they never go. I think they have kept more fans in Sale but that’s just anecdotal.
There will be more reds in your part of Stockport!
I live in Burnage now. I was brought upin Leve. Lived in Ladybarn and Cheadle Heath. All City areas. :-)
Ticket pricing is the issue. The new stand will help with an extra 4000 season tickets and the bigger capacity should help to increase discounts. It is a problem for PL football in general. But City are doing a huge amount of work in the local community despite what some people say. The club is very active in local schools so I am optimistic for the future despite being a FOCI can remember our 2 young sons were outnumbered at least 5 to 1 in the mid-90's, attending a Burnage primary school.
But, the parents of the young City fans would have no problem in taking them to Maine Road, cutting through Platt Fields.
We easily obtained 1 adult and 2 junior season tickets, in the Platt Lane Stand family area.
But, as Manchester is now very cosmopolitan, growing city, will the current young City fans have the opportunity to get to the Etihad ?
Who is the MCFC employee(s) responsible for getting the next generation to attend games ?
City have the young fans out there, but logistically, what is the best way to get them in the ground ?
Don't you mean Citeh?I live in Burnage now. I was brought upin Leve. Lived in Ladybarn and Cheadle Heath. All City areas. :-)
Let’s hope we can do this. It is fantastic to see all the families turn out for parades but we must get more in the ground. I believe part of the broadcast deal should be ringfenced to subsidise tickets for young local fans. This just shows how many city fans the club literally have on their doorstep. It happens a lot because of late returns, especially before Christmas. It has always happened.Seats still available in every single block for tomorrow, can't remember the last time I saw that on the eve of a league game.
Not sure if there's an issue with the site, as every block seems to have 10 seats left
Ha! Yeah. Citeh! :-)Don't you mean Citeh?
hi sorianoThey did ! Prices are that low that it’s easy for People to not bother !
if the match day tickets were priced realistically then no I wouldn’t give a shitIf City had the lowest ratio of Season cards a spot proudly held by Liverpool would you not find it offensive
Liverpool have treated their fans with contempt for years. The cheap price for locals is a PR stunt which affects a tiny minority. And a lot of those tickets end up with touts. Anfield must have the lowest percentage of local fans anywhere in Europe. Much worse than Old Trafford or any of the London grounds. There are a tiny number of scousers at Anfield on matchdays. This is a stark contrast to Everton.if the match day tickets were priced realistically then no I wouldn’t give a shit
Just walking through town on any day of the week (not even matchdays) you rarely see United shirts or hats. You see City everywhere plus random Arsenal, Chelsea, or PSG shirts from the students. Manchester City centre has never been more Blue than now. Ok I rarely venture down to the former rag-infested bottom of Deansgate but City fans dominate virtually all those pubs round Piccadilly and Victoria. A lot of City players and Pep live in town. As the song goes: "The City is ours. Fuck off back to London."Just proving once again the only doom and gloom around City is from the FOC's on Bluemoon
There are no free buses to the Etihad unless you have a concessionary bus pass.I'm not sure where I've mentioned the words "efficient" or "cutting out waste" ?

Jesus, Trafford Park used to be the workshop of the world, now it's' selling fucking calendars ;-)An interesting little snap shot. Certainly not scientific. But where are support is now in general in Gtr Manchester.
Where I work in Trafford Park I put out the same amount of 2026 City and United Calenders side by side for Christmas. I’ve watched their sales out of interest week by week leading up to Christamas. I fully expected the United Calenders to sell much faster, as they had done previously over the years. How wrong I was.
The City Calenders have nearly sold out. There are plenty of United Calenders left.
Remember, this is in Trafford Park, not far from Old Toilet, and the surrounding areas are definitely United areas.
Any way, back to moaning. ;-)
There are no trains to the Etihad so your £9.80 rail fare will include a walk from Piccadilly or an irregular service to and from elsewhere, and a walk. There are no free buses to the Etihad unless you have a concessionary bus pass.
There are match-day buses from the suburbs to the ground but they are expensive. For example, I can get a return from New Mills to the Etihad for £8. I think the train fare would be £9.80, or around that amount so it's not a game changer.
I don't think local transport is relevant to attendances but long distance transport is definitely a problem. Man Utd survive but they have a much larger match going crowd than we do. They were successful for 50 years.
