i think fans have given up when it comes to ticketing and pricing, you have to be Alan Turing to transfer one, be a member of mensa to actually buy one, and if you want to come as a family be rich. I would do anything at one point to get to the match, now i am finding ways to miss it, the club have totally killed my enthusiam and it's only habit that is taking me there, it will only take one email about having to relinquish my kids season ticket and they will have four back for eternity.

Some will be exchange seats to be fair. But there will also be some 3rd party returns mixed in as well. Less than a thousand across the whole stadium currently showing so it's not too bad compared to the likes of Brighton the other week and Fulham in a few weeks. Saturday 3pm kick-off helps and should see most of those shift. Obviously, some of those sold will be replaced by others appearing on the exchange over the next few days.

That line about mensa and the convoluted process of actually buying a ticket is just as relevant as the price of the ticket

These people are often belittled but, we're surrounded by neutrals and "occasional" football supporters who might prefer City over United, but not enough to stomach the appalling post match tram service or spending £35 on a membership

THey might literally only want to attend one game, but the club will need them next season, especially for the less attractive fixtures.

Most of this forum are regulars and have joked and complained whilst wearily growing accustomed to the hassle of buying a ticket whether it be the time involved or comprehending the eligibility criteria

That has got to stop.

Exactly, but imagine being a single mum and you're not particularly interested in football but it's your lad's birthday and you want to take him to City v Wolves tomorrow

Could be looking at some incredibly low crowds for Galatasaray and Newcastle.

I understand money doesn't grow on trees and that City have alienated a lot of people, but it's pretty piss poor for a pair of big games in the context of our season.

I don't think the prices are wonderful, but you'd also be hard pushed to watch a Champions League match and the 2nd leg of a Semi Final for the prices City charge anywhere else.

It's general apathy. It's creeped in across a lot of our core support.

Tickets remaining for League Cup Semi-Final 2nd Leg v Newcastle. Less than 2 weeks to go until the game and selling a couple of hundred tickets a day. Probably looking at about 7/8000 empty seats for it - attendance of about 44/45k

Why do the club think that our fans should be paying nearly double what Newcastle charged and will be paying at our place, fuck em, let them find some beloved tourists

Newcastle charged 20 quid, we are nearly double in some areas, it's another own goal by the club
 
I’ve noticed on social media a bit of a fight back against the media obsession with our “demise”. Maybe it’s just our most loyal fans returning from Bodo and having their say.

This may or may not translate into increased ticket sales but we have a track record of backing the lads when rival clubs and their media shills think they have us broken.

Proud when we win. Defiant when we get beat.

Our fans usually thrive on adversity. Gala and Newcastle are must win games. They might not sell out but you can be sure we will get behind the team.
