Seat Counters 25/26

Listen I always give the club praise when they do something right.

Just recently, I gave them credit for their pricing vs Exeter. I'm also one of the only people on here defending their decision to require purchase history for tomorrow's game.

There are lots of people on here who disagree with me, and you're absolutely welcome to debate me on anything I've ever posted. I don't ever consider it to be personal.

But please don't just tell me to shut up.
Shut up.

;)

And the Omar Beradas who seem to want a low crowd tomorrow night! Come on agent Omar. Get back to fooking up the rags!

My mole tells me that the club has taken on board the ticketing fiasco and there will be discussions and changes.(not this season)
I await the outcome with bated breath.
I’ve said before that the people at the top of a company are briefed by those immediately below, who tell them as much as they need to know and want them to know
It’s the same at City we all know that Khaldoon is a busy man however when he saw the attendance at Gala game and the ticket price protests last season he now knows there is something wrong and he then asks questions and will want answers

I want a 52,000+ sellout, with the crowd behind the boys for tomorrow. I want 61,000+ every week next season, with a new North Stand flowing with new season ticket holders, many being younger fans who have got their hands on proper season tickets for the first time. I want some of our lapsed fans back too.

I’m calling out the thousands of empty seats for tomorrow as a club failure in achieving the above. It’s those pretending everything is just fine because we got 37,000 vs Burton Albion 7 years ago, that seem to be happy with the low crowd.

£35 in my block tomorrow night for non-ST holders.

Even at £25 for me, it’s been nearly £90 for all these Cup games so far in 2026 on top of my ST money. £280+ since Christmas on City home games in January+February… can see how people can’t keep affording it.
Not having a pop at you as you are making the financial effort like a lot of City fans are.

The directors should have made the tickets cheaper for Gala, Newcastle, and the Salford Rags.

As most of us keep on posting, make the tickets cheaper for the cup games and we will fill the Etihad. Exeter proved that.

What money the club loses out on cheaper ticket prices, it will make money back on additional drink, food, and merchandise sales.

Finances aside, a full Etihad is much better than a 3/4’s full Etihad, and the support will help the team more.

I get it’s a money business, but when it’s a one off cup game, a full Etihad and support matters just as much, if not more.

It’s about time Soriano, Danny Wilson, the other directors, and Pride ;-) showed some ‘balls’ :-) and put the fans, the team, and the atmosphere first over revenue, over priced tickets, and empty seats.

Come on City!
