Seat Counters 25/26

I’m lucky enough to have a season ticket but can remember when I was young and skint so am happy for cheap tickets to be made available to fans who deserve to have them.
Yeah, I'm a season ticket holder in CB and I genuinely couldn't give a rats fart if they sold the ticket next to me for half the price or feckin gave it away! I just want the place full.

177 showing after 12pm. I'd guess that those should shift at 2pm meaning they'll need to open more blocks for 4pm where I'd expect quite a few to sell.

About 3000 sold, pretty poor effort really
Tbh it’s the third trip this season.

Plus the movement for the bulk of tickets is the next two windows as most on 7-15k may be waiting on those with less points to buy together. We will sell the 4800 currently given. Equally think the club could let those who qualify know better as most on low points might not even bother to check…

Just feels a bit like everything has been stacked against us with this game since the draw: 3rd Visit this season, 8pm kick off, no trains between york and newcastle, tickets only on sale 9 days before game.

I was never completely convinced that we'd be taking 7,000 fans, I still think we should comfortably take 4,800 though.

I do tend to agree, though.

We have a lot of fans pissing and moaning about away ticket distribution but when it comes to it, they aren't really arsed about Newcastle away with 2 weeks notice. It's really because they can't get ticket for united or Liverpool away, or a big title decider late in the season.

Which is exactly why points need to be kept and the idea of a ballot needs kicking right down the road.

This was always going to be a slow window .
I would think between 7 and 15000 their aren't that many season ticket holders.
Under 7000 encompasses most of the new season ticket holders and alot of younger fans.
The next 2 windows will shift a couple of blocks.

I do agree, same with Leeds this weekend had four people text me for a ticket. Silence on Newcastle.

All you can do is ask those who are blues if they are going I do think there’s some people who just wouldn’t check unless they are told, sure we will all have a good day out and those who don’t go will miss out.

I agree with you about points needing to stay, I would certainly consider bringing back points for less attractive away games however.

I've noticed an awful lot of people on higher points this season who're happy to go to arsenal, anfield and the toilet, however they haven't bothered with either of the Newcastle cup games or Swansea. Both these games matchday members have done a fantastic job of taking the slack.

I'm not saying there's any perfect ticketing system, however our current system makes it far to easy for people at the top of the pile to pick and choose their games.

I agree. They wanted a cheap ticket, now no excuse.
Unless of course they moan because it is next to you -;)

I've attended every fixture this season, apart from Bodo when I didn't quite qualify.

As far as I'm concerned, I should be given some kind of points recognition/priority for attending all those less attractive fixtures, such as Swansea and Brentford in the Carabao Cup, or even Villareal when everyone had 6 weeks to organise travel.

However, I'm not convinced that I should be given points recognition for travelling to Loftus Road for a midweek League Cup Tie in 2003, especially when anyone younger than 23 could offer "not being born" as a valid excuse for non attendance.

Surely, it's not beyond the wit of man to revise the original points system to a rolling 5 years with all the points carried over from the 21-22 season
To negate the "points whores" it would just require the Ticket Office to be more stringent with their matchday checks and punish anyone abusing the system.

All the high pointers would still be at the top, but you could slowly climb the ladder by attending the less attractive fixtures

63 seats currently on sale for Newcastle
Few blocks left to open so match day members will get a chance to go. Hopefully we can fill the full allocation

Yes, agreed on this.
