Seat Counters 25/26

With Wembley on the horizon he won't won't that. Thanks for the info it's appreciated.
Ah sorry I didn’t realise he was on the cup scheme, so he can’t do that. I thought Transfer was an option for scheme members. When I go into my account and select my ticket for scousers it gives me three options, Exchange, Transfer and Donate but I didn’t click any to see which ones worked as don’t want to accidentally lose my ticket!

After already purchasing his ticket (on cup schemes) for Liverpool my adult son as found out he's at a surprise birthday event so cant attend.
Why cant you list a cup game ticket for exchange.
No wonder there's empty seats.
From Ticket criteria on mancity.com...

Ticket Exchange has never been an option for cup games.
I’ve always suspected that it’s down to City’s flaky ticket software. The exchange system is set up to automatically refund 1/19 of the cost of the season ticket if it sells and it just may not be sophisticated enough to be able to cope with the various random prices of cup tickets.

My assumption is that it's because it would make it too easy for individuals to join the cup scheme for the benefits such as points and priority for finals, and then just list all their tickets on the exchange.

At the end of the day, joining the cup scheme is making a commitment to purchase every home cup game automatically.

A good start would be the club allowing you to donate your ticket so it doesn't go empty.

Would love to have gone to Chelsea but it's the same people getting the tickets for every away, no chance if you don't have a zillion points. Shit system which just protects the few, same faces, really dissapoointing
I dont have a zillion points, but I get to a fair few away games every season. But yeah let's scrap the points system and have a ballot instead. When everyone's had their day out and realised how expensive it is going away, we can return to the same old faces.

That's what frustrated me the most
Its not about money he cant even donate it so creates a empty seat.
Both my sons and myself haven't missed a cup tie at the Etihad since covid season i agree regarding commitments to the cup games. CTID

Ticket exchange isn't an option for cup games because city wouldn't make money on it like they do buying season ticket seats for 1/19 the cost and re-selling at full FV or as corporate

And City shouldn’t really be providing a ticket exchange for fans who go on the Cup Schemes to boost their points for Prem away games.

Anyway, credit to Didsbury Dave in his seat counting analysis who managed to factor in youths wanting to attend Harry Potter themed birthday parties, rather than LFC at home.

Bollocks, the same old faces are right now, it's a shit system and it just serves the same minority. Are we an inclusive fair club and fanbase or selfish wankers? Easy, we're selfish wankers unfortunately

I remember the old days pay on the gate off with your mates to all the home and away games, and standing up happy days.
