Seat Counters 25/26

As of 8:15 this morning 6026 on sale but lots of blocks greyed out (nothing available for 506 round to 517 for example)
those blocks have all sold, its blocks 522 to 526 which have never been on sale...the safe standing section have sold already in block 521, which only got put on yesterday afternoon...so there is demand if the price was right

I see the usual clickbait social media pages have picked up on Southampton getting extra tickets. This will be their only chance to play at Wembley for years so their supporters will be all over it. If City get to the final it’s three trips in the space of three months.

We played there 2 seasons ago and have a reasonable chance of playing there again next month too.

We've actually played there a fair bit, this is our 4th (well 5th but one only had a couple thousand fans) visit in the past decade which is pretty good for a club of our stature.

I don't blame you lot for not selling out as outside of London clubs nobody without huge plastic support would playing there as many times as you have. But it's not correct to allude to Wembley as some mythical venue we hardly ever play at.

Must admit I do hate the semis being at Wembley though. Would much prefer to be going to a different stadium for the game this weekend.

The pricing is tricky because it has to be the same for each semifinal I assume, but the £70/£90 ones are struggling to sell for this one. Any discount would be out of City’s own pocket and they really don’t want to be doing that.

We’re in unprecedented territory asking a club’s fans to travel so often and so far over so many years, during a tricky cost of living situation for many as well.

try 31 times in 15 years, we were there around 4 weeks ago and a lot of our fans will be fancying ourselves in this game so saving for the final.

Yeah I quite clearly wasn't having a go at you lot? Just pointing out that saying this is our only chance to visit for years evidently isn't correct.

Hopefully we'll be there next month too, maybe even twice as unlikely as that might be!

To be fair, Southampton have played at the new Wembley more than most teams - this will be their sixth appearance there which ranks them in the top 10.

This SF is the fourth visit for their fans in the last decade and if they lose on Saturday there’s still every chance they’ll be back sooner rather than later for the playoff final next month.

if anyone can work out the amount of tickets we've sold in that timeframe I'll be very impressed
I may be wrong with my count but I get this (excluding covid and Spurs games) since 2011 …

6x FA Cup finals
8x FA Cup semifinals
6x Carabao
7x Community Shield

So 27 games but depends on the allocations. If we say 33k for semis, then I would say 31k avg = 250k roughly. Carabao is 32k each and always sells out so 192k. Same for FA Cups so another 192k. Shield games avg probably 28k because it’s always a decent oppo so 196k.

Total 830k as a conservative estimate.

L1: 2437
L2: 739
L5: 1683

4859 online, 5000 offline. Might be more. 33350 allocated, so 23491 max sold so far.

We could take 25k with a few days to go.

for a few 1000, for many 1000's they won't bother at all, i know people don't like to read that, but it's the truth

I wouldn’t take too much notice mate. Posted by people who couldn’t point to Trafford or Liverpool on a map.

Also seen plenty of posts sticking up for us.

Surely the club could be doing more pushing them out to our members and supporter clubs.
In fairness, i think on this one the club from the outstead did more than they did b4. very relaxed criteria. Supporters clubs know the score, the fact is members have requested less tiks than the last final. Anybody who wanted a tik could have one, ot was well advertised...im not sure on this occasion what more they could do? Perhaps humiliating adverts on talk sport...non of us wants that again. Just my opinion, but would be interested in what more could of been done?
