There's a difference between those who can afford a few pints of the cheapest beer in the local but not a full-blown day out at the match. I agree with your point about those who attend games and don;t watch them though. They can also afford weed and coke without any problem.

I live in Blackpool, originally from Manchester. The Blackpool OSC is one if the biggest in the country and runs 2 or 3 coaches to every home game. Has a great committee and really well run. They are celebrating their 50th anniversary with a meal at the Etihad later this month, guests include Dennis Tueart, David White, Paul Lake, Paul Moulden and the one and only Andy Morrison.

Yeah deffo, load of my old fellers mates moved from Collyhurst to all over those areas in the 80's, as kids in the 1960's and 70's seemed every mamc and his dog holidayed in Blackpool, we certainly did, great place back in the day
