Seat Counters 25/26

Yes 3,500 sold in just over a day, NOT 7,000 like the original poster implied.

If it was any other game I'd agree with you, but it's the last game of the season, with 3 of our legends leaving on a beutiful sunny bank holiday weekend.

The fact that we've crawled across the line doesn't fill me with confidence that we're going to sell this new stand out regularly.
Contact City mate, i'm sure they will have a role for you ?

I'm relieved that this has sold out, it would have been a disgrace if we hadn't for not only peps last game, but the grand opening of the new stand.

The club need to take this as a warning now. Tickets for games like this should be absolute gold dust, yet we've lumbered over the finish line. Time to rebuild our local fanbase.
"Relieved"

"Disgrace"

Christ almighty listen to yourself

Maybe Blues should stop arguing and just enjoy a sell out crowd.

It’s Pep’s, Bernado’s and Jonny’s day. Let’s make it a special occasion Blues.
Some people can't do that. They spend so much time on social media that the nonsensical comments of insecure teenage morons criticising City matter to them. The virtual world begins to become just as important if not more so than the real one

Yet another person who's simply incapable of seeing the bigger picture.

You don’t need to be an expert in consumer behaviour to understand that struggling to sell out a stadium will negatively affect future demand, and that that, in turn, can negatively affect the club’s growth and global perception.

Literally no evidence of your first claim in my post

I was merely responding to your over emotive somewhat needy outburst.

A stadium's either sold out or it isn't. The "struggle" as you define it, presumably in the context of speed of ticket sales, is largely irrelevant to global perception whatever the fuck that means. Any "global perceptor" looking into ticket sales for this game would understand the factors that made it a "struggle" to sell all the tickets

That’s exactly the problem with reducing everything to current revenue figures, it’s an extremely short-term way of looking at growth.

Empty seats matter because they damage the image of the club to potential fans. People will be drawn toward clubs that feel passionate and culturally important. A packed stadium and good atmosphere reinforce that. Visible empty seats do the opposite.

So acting like attendance doesn’t matter because “revenue is growing” misses the bigger picture completely.

If your stadium regularly looks underwhelming on TV, that absolutely can slow fanbase growth over time, and slower fanbase growth eventually affects revenue too.

Did you not read I said fanbase growth, that includes attendance growth. It is growing.
In 2006 the average was 39000 , noe ovet50000 the truth hurts.
That is why we have built a 7000 extension.

You continually use confirmation bias, even when it is totally wrong.

You stated clearly that the directors were shit and that they would not sell the tickets.

You wanted them to FAIL.

But you were wrong, you did not admit it, you misinterpreted my words to try and seek justification for your gross error.

Every ground even the ones that are not reported have empty seats. Out of 50000 people ,some will be ill, called to work, sick children, transport problems. Every ground.

Spot on and I think when we came up to the premier under Kevin Keegan we averaged 47k that season in premier the capacity at the time! Now our average is around 51.5k after end of next season that will go up to am guessing around another 5/6k So those who say we can’t sell out will be in full force as usually but forgetting our average gates will of gone up! Like you say a lot of fans fall for the media bullshit and become confirmation bias! Fans moaning that this game isn’t going to get sold out days before is that! I don’t care never had Media and opposing fans will always do it!

Three people who had no previous affiliation with City. Who came to do their job. All three were outstanding and leave the club as Blues and Mancs.
This has been the greatest period of the clubs history. No one knows what the future holds, but the last 10 years have given us memories we never thought we'd have.
Sunday will be a bittersweet day, that was always going to come. So let's get down to the Etihad and have a proper good party.

Real Madrid and Barcelona don’t sell out every match and never have done.
