Well i think I got lucky as listed it as soon as I could so it was 1 of first entries-2 seats next to one another Row B, Block 202. I only list it as last resort though if I can't get a friend to take ticket at face value.
I guess they'll make their money for the big games where ticket office sells out.

Don't most people just give their ticket to someone when they can't make it to the game?
Some might but I've paid best part of £500 for my ticket so if I can't make some games, I'm not gonna subsidise others to go in my place free of charge. I live in newcastle so most of the Blues I know are up here and are in same boat as me if they can't get to a game.

exactly! That's what I do. I'd never expect money for it from a mate.

he offered me the ticket, and has done in the past, and i would not have expected him to offered it to me for free

As i stated in my email to seatexchange,i did not want to make money,i asked if i could list as a junior ticket
The seat is already paid for,ok, only £95 for the season,£5 a game, but to sell it for £40+ profit is a rip off
I think its a good idea to list is as a junior ticket, and if an adult wants it ,up grade at the ticket office,as someone suggested earlier, but this option isn't available!!!!!!!!!I do usually take someone else if my daughter cant go,but on this occasion i thought i would give seat exchange a go,as i could not find any takers this time
I will leave the seat empty in future on principle

I can't see why the Club Ticket office can't provide this service without having to involve a third party. That way there is no need to provide a "profit" for anyone else, the Club can attempt to sell the ticket for the normal price, and the ticket holder can get back what they paid for it. I can't see anyone being unhappy with that.

I'm sure it could all be done via the web as well so no need to have to put more workload on the ticket office with additional calls.

this seat exchange is not a new idea, ticketmaster in america do it for nfl, mlb, nba, it is official ticket touting, the reason it doesn't list a junior option,is because it is done online they have no way of vetting who,is using the tickets, adults would be trawling the seatexchange looking for junior tickets, and we have a long way to go to catch up to the yanks, average ticket price for a lakers game,£300! original ticket holder gets about £50 but the demand is that great they sell,i would imagine that is the future the club envisage.

The official box office can't vet how old you are when you book standard tickets online or over the phone either. But there are systems in place at the turnstyles to ensure adults don't use junior tickets.

There is absolutely no reason for the club not allowing this to be sold as a junior ticket.

i have used a junior ticket for the last two seasons to get my adult mates tickets,so no there is no checks, only stopped this season because the birthdate i gave to get the original junior access card reached 16.

is this the £95 season ticket that works out at £5 a game, if so, £4.50 is a gd return for the ticket.
