EG, All M20 fans allocated in one block along with it's supporter's club(ie Didsbury Blues).

Sounds good in theory, people that live near you that you never knew had season tickets/car share/better social aspect/better chance of match day bus from your door/wife swap(haha just joking).

Obviously it'd be impossible to do as moving people in their existing seats is not going to happen. But would this have been a good idea or not?

That would be hilarious, thinking about it. Us commoner's here in North Manchester would get to vent our spleen towards our southern cousins as they sip their tea and eat their cucumber butty's, (sorry, sandwiches), and discuss the latest index in the Financial Times.

How would it work for those of us who live outside Manchester?

The same... if your a Geordie... NE section of a block for example. For minority areas. Ie: Norway, you'd be bunched in with Scandinavian neighbours?

Feck.... Not though this though... Russians could be tricky!

So all the Cheshire set would be sat together, with the Alderley Edge blues looking down on the Wilmslow blues and everyone trying to out posh each other and displaying their trophy wives.....

And then there is the Hebden Bridge blues..... hippies, lesbians, dope smokers, tree huggers demanding to know why lentil burgers aren't on sale in the ground. We can throw Chorlton in there too ;)

If it is done on the post code you were brought up in rather than the one you currently live in then I'm in, if not then I'm out because I'm not sitting at the match surrounded by Welsh ****s.
