To be honest I have no idea what the marking was at the corners - zonal, man marking or a botched hybrid of both in which we only bothered to incorporate the worst features of both...as for the wall for one of their free kicks in which you had to be below 5'4' to qualify...that baffled me

I think they might practise passing sideways and backwards giving the opposition time to organise their defence.
It worked a treat yesterday as they refused to show any urgency until we were three-one down.
It's so unsporting to put pressure on defenders in the hope of forcing a mistake.
As for defending bloody set pieces????????????

I think we've been learning how to play EVEN deeper in the players half with possession football.

In the near future we'll probably need much smaller players or revert to 4 year olds soon to find ever decreasing spaces behind the opposition.

based on the Cardiff game it looks like we have never practiced this. Or taking them.
