I would have thought security at all venues will be stepped up but I would imagine spot checks are more likely to be done on a profiling basis aren't they?

Bit like someone (lets call him Paul Smith) at passport control coming back from a 2 week jaunt in Magaluf with a UK passport is less likely to be scrutinised at the passport gate than someone from the Yemen visiting his auntie for a week.

Practically every time I go to our stadium I think of terrorism. At the risk of scaremongering, given that the whole stadium is held up by cables, how easy would it be to bring the whole damn lot down with a few bombs outside the stadium?

I only ever think will we win, lose or draw

You've just got to get on with life exactly how you usually would. Do exactly what you always do and enjoy yourself as much as possible. That is how to deal with a terror threat not being careful (whatever that means) and living in fear.

Bingo! You can't live worrying that a suicide bomber is around the next corner, if people took that attitude they'd hide in their bedroom all the time as they might get run over crossing the road.

I predict that you will never, ever be confronted by a gun wielding maniac...

but if you want to chance your luck with 20 B&Hs regularly, then I am sure you will die sooner than you need to.

If they patted down everyone and took their cigs off them, that would leave the wonderful Showsec staff free to keep an eye out for terrorists (and fans standing up).

They could also stop "fans" from leaving before the final whistle.

Belgium vs Spain has been called off due to raised terror alerts.

I suppose being all that's happened in Belgium yesterday it's more acceptable as they may be abit more reluctant
