semi final tkts??

I don't see why turning up to one game should be treated as more valuable than someone that may have been to dozens of games, but couldn't make that one.

We have a loyalty points system for a reason.

preference should be given to those who could be arsed to turn up v fulham.

What about those that travelled to Palace, but couldn't make Fulham?

Or those that managed to get to Fulham & Scunny, but missed Palace.

Then again, I feel for those that went all the way to Abu Dhabi or Barca, but then missed the Arsenal match the other night cos they'd spent up.

And then there's those fella's in their trawler (have they made it back from The Faroe's yet)?

And surely Denis Law deserves first refusal for his backheel back in '74? Maybe he can sit next to Michael Ball (the Ronaldo stamp) as guests of honour?

Looks like tickets are gonna be at a bit of a premium. It makes you glad glad you invested all those hundreds of pounds in a lovely little season ticket again, doesn't it!

fair enough, but there are 1000's of season ticket holders who have dismissed this cup for years, yet those with no season ticket who turned up for these games will be overlooked.

and you are right moomba the loyalty points system is fair

I agree & sympathise to a certain extent, but they knew that would be the case before they bought their tickets for these games, & in fact before the season even started.

I support Manchester City, be it in the league, the cup, europe..whatever! The club is a single entity, no matter what competition it is in, so preference for tickets has to go to those who have shown the most loyalty over the course of the season & in previous seasons. Differentiating between competitions would be as unfair to season ticket holders as the current system is to those who only do cup games.

Season ticket holders put the most money through the clubs coffers, so they have to get priority. Sorry to those that miss out, but it is the fairest way at the end of the day.

you are correct

I reckon there will be a chance for City Card holders to get a ticket if they're quick when they go on sale to them.

There will be a chance for citycard holders but not much of one, at least 6k to the scum, 40-41k less the 36k season ticket holders, assuming 5% don't take up their chance which is probably to high would leave in the region of 6/7k for citycard holders. You could proably knock another 2k off for the mates of mates thing at the ticket office, ("Sorry the ticket office is busy right now as 5 of or 6 staff are sorting out friends & family on their mobile, please call again")

So probably less than 5k to genuine citycard holders without a club contact.
