Senior Figures at City Are Saying...

Carlo's statement was not written by him but by one of his representatives!

More going on then we think - calls taking place and people both within and outside the club are getting backed into corners!

Ajay you say people are being backed into corners, What do you think that our owners will be making of this? What do you see as the final end game in all of this?

Quotes from a guardian report:

Senior figures at City were last night privately suggesting that Tévez’s statement, released just after 8.20pm, was merely an attempt by the player’s representative, Kia Joorabchian, to drive a wedge between the club’s Abu Dhabi owners and chief executive Cook and football administrator Marwood.

So is he trying to fuck up our club or is he just after more money??

Cooke and Marwood banned the agent from the club because he was leaking stories. they are at war with each other.

And this is nothing other than Kia getting his own back in the only way he knows and is possible.

Not unexpected.

The sad thing is that Carlos is allowing his own good name and reputation to be dragged through the mud.

One more thing. Everyone is surmising that Madrid are the instigators but has anyone had the thought that a certain Russian owner of a west London club might just be meddling here?

So Carlos is fed up and wants to go home to see his kids.maybe he should have thought about this before he started shagging a 19yr old. Then his missus would'nt have done a runner in the first place.Yes he is a great player and I for one love him.But if he wants away then let him go ,we move onwards and upwards with or without him.

On the other hand is he just taking the P*ss,someone has to make a stand agaisnt these players and agents, what is the point on any club paying millions and millions for a player if they can just do one when they feel like it.
So off you go Carlos but before you do can we have the transfer fee back please. Otherwise you can sit on our bench for the next three and a half years and then leave when your an old man .

I just hope there is unity in the boardroom. They are doing an excellent job of running the club. Tevez is the most consistent player we have had for a long time, but the actions of him and his agent are a disgrace. It is fair to say Tevez is not worthy of that resposibility. A good outcome for the club and the fans would be for Tevez to play well through to January, then if the club find an ideal replacement, they sell him to highest non English club bidder...

Conspiracy theories apart Carlos as asked to leave and if we don't want him to go we have to pursuade him to stay or if we are not too bothered then we sell him for the money we want.

All this bollox about him being homesick doesn't fit right especially when the reasons for joining us is because his family were settled in Manchester.

IMO

This issue is down to personalities and between Cooke, Marwood and Kia and I don't want to go down the road of slagging Carlos off if in the end this is proven.

dont care who is saying what tevez has come out and said he does not want to be at our fine football club well i say let him go we were here before him and will be long after he goes. if he doesn't want to be a part of what is clearly going to happen that's his decision let him regret it at his leisure.
we will bring someone else in and strenghen again, january and in the summer getting tevez off the wage bill might not be a bad thing considering the new uefa rules that they are bringing in

Maybe we should wait until reviewing Tevez's actions until we see what he really thinks. So far it's all been the agent speaking.

The club are respecting the time Carlos has with his family and will talk to him f-2-f on his return, I know for sure two players knew about his transfer request before the WH game but I do not believe many knew!
