Senior Figures at City Are Saying...

It's obvious, the breakdown between cook and tevez is when cook refused to negotiate a new contract.

Personally I would bend over backwards to keep tevez at city

I wouldn't, let him crawl back to the club if he really wants to be here, I thought the images of him laughing at training today were fairly nausiating to be honest.

Cause loads of shit, and look happy anyway, it doesn't wash with me, in fact its made my attitude harden towards the fella, the sooner he f**ks off the better, but I sincerely hope City hold out for the very top dollar.

How could you trust him with his record on loyalty?

Personally i wouldnt piss on him if he was dying of thirst

There's understandably some very strong comments against Carlos in this and recent threads.

My take on it is Kia knows of other strong interest and has pushed Carlos on the matter, Carlos not being the sharpest tool in the shed (and there's many a reason to believe his lack of intellect) has allowed him to get in his head. Lets not forget that he is also the god parents to Tevez's kids and could also be stirring the pot back at Carlos's ex Mrs about going to Spain and egging her on to twists Carlos's mind.

For me Kia is a bright man and is using Carlos and Carlos's state of mind to gain more wealth, sadly Carlos's isn't quite aware of his mates plan as he's probably thinking about playing for Real Madrid, his chances of seeing his kids more often, more money and finally spanish fanny!

Perhaps it's Kia who is the main disillusion inside Carlos's head...

The bottom line is that there's loads of wheeling and dealing going on that we know nothing about but I hope this doesn't end up like the Robinho deal where he came (for a fortune) then became homesick for his motherland and eventually ended up in Italy (for half the fortune that he'd cost us).

Whatever's going on it leaves a sour taste in the mouth and has as usual come at a time when we should be on our uppers - shame.

If Real Madrid sign Tevez is it over Mourinho's head, he does not want him.

Florentino Perez does, but he isn't at the moment committed to a) stumping up the money and b) potentially damaging his good relationship with Sheikh Mansour.

The meetings between us and other major clubs have been to estabish us so that when these things come around we aren't dicked on like some small club in the grand scheme of things.

Whatever you want to say about our boardroom, with all this going on added to their normal workload, Garry has still managed to be proactive and supportive over the Neil Young day and potential further opportunities with it, the man took the heat over Mancini for the good of the club, and he and other core members of the City boardroom have and are continuing to do some great things in and around the club.

Contrast that to the pathetic cheek and whining from Kia and Carlos, and you see the real picture very, very quickly.
