De Vrij pushes him close too as he is a very good CB but lazio arent very good defensively so doesnt get as much recognition as the rest.

Mainly just didnt agree that Savic is carrying a poor Lazio side a la Zaha is at Palace. As imo he's not even the best player and they are a good team.

I'd have SDV over Alberto but agree with all your points, very much a functioning unit that have been building to a top 4 challenge patiently. Haven't seen this lad dominate matches either tbh, he's a very good player when transitioning from defence to attack but we have 5 of those in midfield already.

This guy should have been our number one target. Extremely impressive every time I have seen him play. A complete midfielder. Anything under £100m in reasonable value in today's market. He's already 10 times the player that Pogba will ever be.

Many won't want to hear this but Serie A is his level,a league which he isn't even the best midfielder in..Compared to Pogba in playing style but he'll do well to even match his current levels.
Only similarity in both is that they are both mavericks.
He is strictly a CM for starters..Can't play at DM for us as he is too reckless in and out of possession.
Lazio's president & his agent have tried their best to hype him to get the highest offer for him and for 100 M € at least..that should be WC levels.
His playing style suits PSG/Chelsea,not City.
