I don't buy into that. Aguero gets a hell of a lot of media attention, Sky had a lengthy exclusive interview with him just days ago and he is rightly considered as the best forward in the league by almost every single pundit.
He's ten times the player that Vardy or Kane are. Does he get ten times the accolades? I think not! It is impossible to ignore his achievements even by the RagDipperMeedya but the DT would be stuffed daily with pieces of puffery were he clad in scarlet.
You're right, it was almost as if there was some sort of telepathic link that day.
I think that game may have been Tevez's first one back after the Champions League fiasco IIRC, or thereabouts.
The Chelsea match was Tevez's first match back for us I think. Aguero and Tevez might have been a good partnership for us had Aguero managed to stay fit for a long period of the 12/13 season, but on the whole I felt they didn't click too well bar a few obvious moments and the occasional match.

Do you think he will hit 100 by the end of the season? I think he'll hit it in next 7 games if he stays fit!
He needs to score 5 by the last home game to match van horse face of 95 in 150 games but I think he will break the century edit then if he carries on.

He's had something like 10 injuries for us, so imagine thats probably 7 or 8 matches he's come off injured in. Then there's his recovery time and slower introductions onto the pitch. A lot of that accounts for his poor scoring form in 12-13 (by his standard). He has missed around 3/4 of a full season with us through injury, maybe slightly more. Imagine another full seasons worth of matches and scoring to add into those statistics, he would be on par with Shearer's scoring.
