Ok I got it wrong I was told by a mate that was his last away league goal. I've just had a look & that's the only one in the last year though which isn't great. I would still pick him though because I think he will start scoring again.

To leave him out would be a farce. His desire was superb today as was his general play and work rate. Great header as well. Klopp would be over the moon to see him on the bench Thursday.

No dilema,he looks much better today,got his goal,would have had another without the keeper

Looked a lot sharper today. Now he’s bagged he should be better. Always seems edgy when coming back until he scores. Very unlucky with the one that hit the bar.

His record at home to Liverpool suggests he should be starting.

Today against Southampton he missed a couple of good opportunities, but nothing to be too worried about (just ignore posters on match thread who are overly critical).
Got back and made a good defensive clearance in our own Pen box first half at a time when Saints were threatening.
Committed a foul which I have no complaints about, but his dissent for the ref blowing up for the foul was what got him booked, but it showed passion from him.
Took his headed goal very well timing the jump and heading down low making it difficult for the keeper to keep out.
Serg didn’t play great but neither was he poor, showed he is getting back up to speed. Was one of the stronger players today, fizzled out a bit for him in 2nd half but same could be said for the match.
When he scored there was no need for some posters to tell everyone on the match thread in Caps to STFU. He scored but that doesn’t mean Serg is suddenly a world beater again. He has today won me back over a bit more, scored which I expect from a player of his ability and dug in for the team. I just hope now he goes and smashes loads of goals in and stops Salah from winning the golden ball as top scorer. After all Aguero is capable, just needs that desire to win it.
