The Sergio we are seeing at the moment, is the exact same Sergio we have seen since he signed. I have never known a player, who struggles so much to gain match fitness after an injury. If he was out for a day with the shits, it would take him 4 weeks to get back to fitness. I love the guy but between him and Jesus we are really struggling up front at the min.

Since he stopped being an International footballer and became an International Playboy , he is a shadow of the man he used to be. Nice hair though.

Why does he take so long to get up to speed after an injury. He needs 3/4 games absoluteaminimum to start to look anything like sharp.

It's nothing new. Ever since we signed him he has always taken a few games to get up to speed after an injury. But with Aguero you know once he is back up to speed he will knock in the goals. The problem is we don't have another reliable goal scorer who can pick up the slack for when Aguero is injured.

it is not easy to come back from injury as a striker and immediately be a step quicker than the rest, and as clinical as you like... Sergio is the best in the league. let the man do his work.

For me Aguero is a City Legend not just because of his 93rd min goal to win the Premier league, but because of what he has achieved and what he has brought to City. I was a big fan of Aguero before he came to City and he did not disappoint when he arrived.

I feel differently about him now, he no longer seems to have the hunger, both domestically here and internationally with Argentina. He plays in a way that looks like he is going through the motions. His experience should make him a leader on the pitch but I do not see that in his games. We talk about Gabby being offside but Aguero is often offside, but he is so far off no one passes to him, so he does not get flagged but is holding up the attack because of his position behind the oppo defence. The midfield resort to sideway passing and back passes because Aguero is not in a position to make a run.

Aguero will score goals but I don’t think he has ever hit as many as he should be if he gave that extra awareness and dug in a bit more. We need that from him now, he is a senior member of the squad.

We are not a team that can start a player in a match whilst waiting for the said player to get back his fitness. We are challenging for trophies and players need to put their bodies on the line. If Aguero thinks he is ready that is great news and he will need to run through walls. If he does that no complaints from me.
