He got quoted as saying you need to get to the CL final to win the Ballon d'or. Obviously that's big new in Argentina as it excludes his BFF Messi.

Serg replied saying he was only talking about himself, saying for him to win it he'd need to reach the CL final etc. etc.

Much ado about nothing.
 
Not going to get any sort of summer break as he's in the Argie squad for the Copa America. Can't believe he's gone back to play for them, big blow for the start of next season.

Winning a proper tournament with Argentina is one of the only things missing from Sergio's career. If he needed to take August and September off to recuperate from the Copa America then he deserves it.
