When all this was starting off and we started signing good players and building something, everyone (Utd fans and the media to be precise) always banked on the likes of Serge leaving 'as soon as a big club came in'. Yet Serge (along with Spanish Dave) just kept playing his football, scoring goals and being happy at City. No matter how much the press tried to stir, he's never caused a hint of trouble and he always looks so damn happy when we score. He really is the best and I'm just honoured to have seen this modern day legend play and look forward to even more years of Kun goals.

As a city fan since the 90's, i as many City fans thought we would struggle to find another forward fit to lace the boots if the great Uwe Rosler, Paul Dickov, Shaun Goater and some others. Then we one the lottery and you and others began to arrive.
I am grateful for everything you have given this club and grateful for the amount of times you stood by the club even though the likes of Real were trying to turn your head. Thank you for the joy you have given me and others and thank you for everything you do in the future.
You are the epitome of a legend.

I have just downloaded the video from the OS of ALL 178 goals. It has been organised bu the time of the game that he scored his goal so the last one is 93:20.
I'm going to make it into a DVD that I can play on the big screen TV any time

Now that will be a great Xmas stocking filler. Great to be back in NZ after taking 3 trips to the Etihad last month. Moving from Gizzy to Tauranga in the new year.

We can still do this. The SS whistles the piccolo flute part, the CB takes the wah-wah wishy washy guitar, the Family stand takes the funky percussion sounds and East Stand the lub a dub dub bass.
Granted we'll all need a good drink after.
