Calling him.the worst of our players might be over the top, but every other point he made kinda rings true. Kun's finishing was poor today. I think everyone agrees on that. His decision making in the build up was also poor. There were times outside the box I was hoping the ball didn't go to him into we were nearer their box. The counter run wherer he should have laid off to DeBryune earlier. a few passes just behind the player that killed possible counters. And a few head down Solo dribbling runs that ended in culdesacs.
H

For a good portion there, I was just hoping the ball didn't go to him when we weren't near their 18, as I didn't like his decisions on prior plays outside the box..

Totally agree. He was influential in the game but was delaying passes, running down blind alleys and lost his head right at the end.

On another day he could have had a hattrick but his finishing was off and he didn't look himself yesterday. Here's to hoping he bags five in the next game like he did against Newcastle (which came after a poor run of form IIRC).

I totally agree as well. If he's our goal scorer then why are we not winning by large margins instead of getting a stupid point with a last minute goal against us? I'm one of the most positive posters on this forum but anyone who can't see that we have a huge conversion problem isn't watching us. People blaming Bravo (who's been responsible for no goals) and fail to see that Kun (and others) are far more culpable for being off target and missing chance after chance are simply in denial. If we were scoring like the Dippers, Chelski etc we'd still be top and running away with the league. Kun and others need to get their shooting boots back on to target mode and then we'll have no stupid draws at home.

Fully agree, we are struggling up front and it is hurting us far worse than any perceived issues in defence

The dippers are getting goals from Mané, Firmino and Coutinho - with lots of others chipping in like Can, Milner and Lallana.

We get goals from....Aguero. Maybe a couple from Gundogan and Silva.

Until we have more goal threats in the front 4 we won't be able to win by large margins because defenders will just swarm around aguero knowing that it doesn't matter if they leave gaps. Sterling needs to start scoring more, Sané needs to be brought into the team properly because he's got goals, and maybe we should be seeing more Nolito too.

G. Jesus will help from february onwards but we can't wait until then.

But it still doesn't excuse Aguero missing that guilt edge chance. I take your point about having goals spread out through the team, but Sergio is a striker. It's his job.

Strikers will always miss chances, all strikers, no matter how good. If we're relying on 1 player to score all of his chances then we're not going to get anywhere.

We've had a problem with translating dominance into scoring opportunities since the West Ham game. With how dominant we were on Saturday for most of the game, we should have created 10 gilt edged chances for Aguero to score, not 2.

No striker in history has had a return of 2 or 3 goals per game which is what we would need from Sergio at the moment because of the lack of goals elsewhere in the team. KDB, Nolito and Sterling will score but not enough to supplement the other attacking midfielders. Silva, who I love has never scored enough but it was ok in a side that contained a Negredo or a Dzeko plus a Yaya. Now he's not scoring enough in a team without a second striker getting 15+ goals and no Yaya chipping in with 10+ goals. We have Navas whose City league goalscoring record over the past 2 years is the same as mine. Gundogan has scored 4 recently but over his career he's never been a goalscoring midfielder so the jury is out on whether or not he can consistently add goals to his game. Fernandinho doesn't score. For me we must start providing extra support for Sergio especially in home games and that means playing Kelechi alongside him.

If he stopped running across Silva's path when the latter has the ball he may get more gilt edged chances. I've noticed it a few times now, it's driving me mad. We all know what Silva is going to do, why doesn't Sergio?

Agree. It's quite ironic I've been asking Jesus to help City for years ))

I'm a fan of Navas but your comment about his goals over the last two years made me laugh !

Been racking up the take-ons in the last 3 premier league games, 3rd overall in the league now having played 90-180mins less than those above him

I dont know about what others think but i get the impression that Aguero is on his way out.I believe he has been one of the greatest players we have ever had but I sense something does does not suit Peps style. I can see Aguero out and Greizman in.

14 goals in 15 games says different
