kdb as a false nine wasn't working...aguero should have played ..end of. His snubbing wouldn't have done his confidence any good.

11 goals out of 9 games. Yes , his game has dropped , no doubting that - and pep wanted to warn aguero . Not sure dropping him against Barca was the solution. Should have come on at HT

KDB as a false 9 worked very well, and if you can't see that you might as well stop watching football to be honest. The pressing we were able to do, and the amount of bodies we had in midfield disrupted Barcelona's possession so much that Enrique had them resorting to long balls from the centrebacks to Suarez. And until Bravo cocked up we were mopping up those balls with ease - especially once Pique was taken off.

Barcelona, at home, had to completely change the way they were playing, and only had even possession at home. It's completely unheard of, and we forced Barcleona into playing some of the worst football they've played in a long, long time.

But to people like you, apparently that's it not working. Apparently when you see us creating chances through having 6 midfielders, it's a tragedy Aguero isn't there - despite the fact if he was there, we'd have never created the chances in the first place, Barcelona would have had 15% more possession and we'd have been seeing exactly the same crap we saw under Pellegrini with them running all over us.

He drifted deeper late on in the half. The first 30-35 mins he wasn't in the game and Silva had nobody to play through balls for when he got it without Aguero on.

That's simply not true mate, he had a few opportunities early doors to provide decent ball into the box and he fluffed them. One which granted was a tough ball to play to Nolito across the box was a bit undercooked, he had another opportunity to cross into the box early with Silva and Sterling looking for the cross which he passed into Ter Stegen's hands at his near post. And on another occasion blasted one over the bar when the opportunity was there again to cross.

For the first time we went to the Nou Camp and weren't overrun in the centre of the park and this was directly owing to sacrificing a striker for a midfielder.

Pissing himself ? So he was happy at not being selected then ? Is that what you are saying ?

I think he's just suggesting that they're pissing themselves at the Telegraph article that there's some sort of rift between them.

Decent post but for me fella Aguero could have played instead of Nolito- who again flatters to deceive when anywhere near the box with the ball at his feet

Could have easily played with a front three of Raheem, Kev and Aguero

How did you deduce that from TH's post? He's saying they're pissing themselves at the idea that there's something amiss on the back of Aguero's non-inclusion.

So do you honestly think Aguero could not have dropped a bit deeper when we lost the ball or even just pressed high up if he was there and De Bruyne played deep? De Bruyne was very high up the pitch for 35 mins until dropping deep to finally get on the ball a bit and get us looking more threatening. There is a big myth suddenly being created on here lately that Aguero just stands about scratching whenever we lose the ball. He's no Paul Dickov( unfortunately) but he's far from lazy.

Also one of Aguero's biggest strengths is playing on the shoulder and timing his runs in behind brilliantly. Now obviously when teams are camped on the edge of their own box like most weeks he can't do that.Bucharest (yes they were poor) left space and so did Gladbach 2nd half and Aguero destroyed both. The only other teams to do that this season was utd 2nd half and unfortunately Sergio was banned but also Barca did it plenty the other night too.
