Decent post but for me fella Aguero could have played instead of Nolito- who again flatters to deceive when anywhere near the box with the ball at his feet

Could have easily played with a front three of Raheem, Kev and Aguero

Flatters to deceive? He's scored 5 and assisted 2 in the 630 minutes of competitive football he's played for City.

How did you deduce that from TH's post? He's saying they're pissing themselves at the idea that there's something amiss on the back of Aguero's non-inclusion.

I was referring to the fall out on here, where some are considering getting rid,and the media that suggests all is not right between them,I mean I know how I would feel if not selected, especially being the best goalscorer in the squad, goals win games, don't they ? So to sit on a bench seeing your mates getting gubbed 4-0 then coming on with 10 mins to go would really light up my face

Btw I'm also not naive enough to think they read Bluemoon

What's your last line got do with anything?

Pissing themselves at the lies.

That's a completely separate issue. Sergio is being nursed for his own protection.

I hope you are right mate, the last thing we need is a rift between these two,I know you are close to the behind the scenes situations,so I do trust your judgements, even though I'm still terribly upset your prediction of us getting Kroos and Aubameyang failed to materialise in the summer

You trying to start an argument here ? i'll get the ball rolling, are you a "book reader" as well ?

Not trying anything mate, just asking what significance your comment about bluemoon has, genuine question as I'm a bit perplexed by it.

Your book reader comment is lost on me too btw.

I was saying, that in reference to TH post, although that has now been corrected, that I don't think they would read Bluemoon to see the arguments on here about the situation

So do you honestly think Aguero could not have dropped a bit deeper when we lost the ball or even just pressed high up if he was there and De Bruyne played deep? De Bruyne was very high up the pitch for 35 mins until dropping deep to finally get on the ball a bit and get us looking more threatening. There is a big myth suddenly being created on here lately that Aguero just stands about scratching whenever we lose the ball. He's no Paul Dickov( unfortunately) but he's far from lazy.

Also one of Aguero's biggest strengths is playing on the shoulder and timing his runs in behind brilliantly. Now obviously when teams are camped on the edge of their own box like most weeks he can't do that.Bucharest (yes they were poor) left space and so did Gladbach 2nd half and Aguero destroyed both. The only other teams to do that this season was utd 2nd half and unfortunately Sergio was banned but also Barca did it plenty the other night too.

It must be clear to anyone following this football club that Guardiola isn't happy with Aguero's defensive contributions, the man has said it 2 or 3 times in press conferences and he's only been here 3 months.

Conversely KDB is our best player without the ball. Pep has said so, and you can see it watching us. Not only does he never stop sprinting and runs himself ragged every single game, he does it intelligently. The fact that Pep chose our best presser to be the one at false 9, not Sterling or Nolito (who he's said can play there in the past), shows how important he felt the pressing in that position was because it's from there that everything starts, and it's pressing there which forces Barcelona into going long from the back.

Nolito pressed brilliantly and knows exactly when to come inside and press the 3 midfielders, and when to stay wide and go for the RB. He's learned that from playing under Pep for 2 years, and seeing as Aguero can't play out wide, and the 9 position had to go to Kev, I'd chose Nolito over Aguero 10 times out of 10 at left wing.
