Pep said he played in pain today but he wanted to play, good for him, rewarded with 2 goals
This...plus I thought his closing down was much better - like a lot of players who rely on goals, he just needed one and then the confidence came back. I also don't care if he scores off his backside ala the Goat, his record is second to none and we are lucky to have him.To be fair he also had a great shot tipped around the post and another effort in the first 10 mins that needed a good save.
I thought he contributed well today and he will always score goals.
He looked much more fired up and involved at Burnley. We already know he likes playing against Chelsea so hopefully that's a good sign.Signs of his normal self yesterday which is great news for us. Hopefully he is raring to go next Sat.
Nah, shit form, not good enough, etc
Yep. With all due respect to Colin Bell I hope Sergio is ahead by Saturday evening.Does he need one more to match king col as all time goal scorers?
