Sergio Aguero - 2016/17 performances

Was absolute class and the system helped him with sterling occupying a more central role. He played creator very well and west ham were so concerned with him they let runners go off him and were punished.

I liked the system in general though would prefer de bruyne to be marauding forward more rather than zabba and id potentially use Garcia ahead of zabba purely because he can cover the ground more quickly and is better on the ball. There will be games where Yaya and zabba would be easily bypassed with quick energetic players. I think Garcia would be better in there.

cracking win, glad to see aguero back on form.

The formation worked so well because KdB was playing in a deeper rôle and Zaba was only in midfield because both Ferns were unavailable. Sergio having Raheem close to him must have scared the West Ham defenders shitless with their pace. The full-backs - especially Bacary - provided the width and Merlin and Yaya orchestrated things centrally.

Dinho, rather than Zaba, will make it even more dynamic.

I'll be upset the day he goes, but clearly not interested in Guardiola's methods, the time is this summer if the club want a good return on him,but still a mistake if he goes in my opinion

Gabriel Jesus has been brought in as his replacement in my opinion , he'd have had 6 months to settle before being ready to step up and be the main man. Shame to see Kun in this decline

He is only in decline with City, he is a natural goalscorer. If we have the chance to sell and bring in Alex Sanchez then I would be happy with that as Aguero no longer looks interested and I can see him at Real Madrid next season
