There's plenty of ex-pat Brits that live in other parts of the world, love it there, and yet speak next to nothing of the local language, especially if they are around other English-speaking people most of the time.Neither can Silva.....do you have a problem with him as well?
Kun clearly understands at least some English as was shown last night int he way he was nodding to the questions being poised by the interviewer on tv even though he answered them in his own language
It's not out of the question that he beats the record by the end of this season. Would that make him more or less likely to leave, I wonder?

People can now get by without making the effort to learn the local tongue when they move elsewhere. Doesn't mean he doesn't love it here.
