The whole standard of reffereing is poor u have dean that has took the new shirt pulling in area law and acted on it! Then u get the clown at the spurs-liverpool game that asks for a corner to be re-taken after seeing shirt pulling in the area? Also 2 games on the trot costa should have walked for 2nd bookings but got away with it and as the ref has seen the incident that is that! The whole rulebooks need ripping up and also I think refs should be fined for missing quite blatent incidents.

I would love to know what pep has said to sergio behind close doors,can't complain if he gets charged but the ref saying he hasn't seen it ir rubbish,it's a stitch up.pep will have a plan for the rags game anyway

Who decides, FA or Prem League?

It'll be a panel of 3 former referees who decide, appointed by the FA. All 3 need to agree that it was a red card offence for any form of retrospective punishment to be enforced. All 3 will concur however as it's pretty obvious from the replays, it all just depends whether Marriner is going to be honest and admit he saw the incident at the time or if he's going to lie and claim he didn't.

In some ways if Sergio is banned it makes things harder for the rags as Mourinho would have set out his plans to keep Aguero quiet and now he won't be sure which tactics Pep will employ.
