Sergio told a couple of teammates he thought he was off last summer.
He's running himself into the ground but for some reason, it just doesn't seem natural to him and the team is less cohesive in the press than when Jesus is on.
I wouldn't begrudge Sergio any decision he might want to take.
A nice few trophies this season with a good few goals more to his name and I see him going.
I think he is slightly on the down slope for us, but we play a very specific way and for me, our system will limit Sergio's time at the very top.
With us, the way we play I think he's got 18 months max.
Make a move to Spain or Italy under a different manager and he could remain elite for 3 more years.
I think this summer could be perfect for all.
He'd leave City with a heavy heart as he's still integral, still deserving of his spot. Still a lethal striker adored by the fans and his teammates.
Yet, he'd still be in a position to demand a proper contract somewhere, still being judged on his current abilities rather than his past achievements.
City have Jesus. Likely Sanchez and would have room for another flexible striker.
For me Aguero is a 30 goal a season man, with those round him adding 8-10 each. But Pep would prefer all forwards getting 20 a season each.
I think summer 18 is the natural progression for him to leave.
