Sergio Aguero leaves City after 10 years

I have tears in my eyes reading some of your posts.
I cannot believe we will not be seeing him in blue next season. My heart sank when they announced his leaving, he has been immense for the club. He will ALWAYS be remembered for THAT goal which elevated us to new heights.
I know I’ll be crying Sunday, but it is a mixture of happy tears, and to remember his contributions that have brought us so far.

Every single defender in the league will be the only ones happy to see him go.

His unhappiness is said to go beyond not being selected for games etc. Every footballer isn’t happy when not getting games. I get the feeling the relationship between Pep and Serg is a strained one
 
I have had a few heroes in the decades supporting City, many of them you stay emotionally attached to as well as the stored memories. That makes it difficult to pick any one over another but for me Sergio is the best we have had.
 
Just managed to get my Napoli away stub signed from serg when he broke the record.
A proper blue legend he will be missed,
Not often you can put legend and a great in the same sentence for modern day footballers but this fella fits the Bill.

Gutted not being able to say goodbye and thanks to him tomorrow, as bizarre as it seems I would have rather missed out on a champions league final ticket and got one for Sunday .

It probably still stems from his lack of game time but it’s not unusual for an employee not to be keen on his or her boss. Pep isn’t here to be liked he is here to win and make the right decisions. Because Sergio is a club legend should not cloud his judgment.

I agree with you 100%. We look better without Serg in the team at the moment (kills me to say that) and that’s the reason Pep is paid the money he is. He’s ice cold when it comes to selecting a team to win. Be interesting to see if anything comes out once he’s left
