Sergio Aguero leaves City after 10 years

It's more than just a football match. Or some football matches. Or the points you need to win the league. It's growing up watching your Mum, Dad, Brothers, Sisters, your Aunt and your Uncle and seeing as a kid what this means to them. It's going to school every week as the team that doesn't win. When your rival is winning it all. It's knowing you will never feel what everyone else who gets to win the league, so many times right in your face, feels when they win the league. And being ok with that because it's more than just a football match. It's more than what you win. It's in your blood. It doesn't matter what you win. Being a part of this team is enough.

Then one day. It becomes within reach. It's minutes away. That feeling you never in your life thought you'd feel. Not in my lifetime. And you don't think it's going to happen. To come so close and leave with nothing. That's worse than never having anything at all. Worse though, it's the team who've had everything for all of those years that you have had nothing at all who are getting to taste this glory. Again. It's fucking heartbreaking.

Then. When all seems lost. Aguero scores that goal. It's more than just a game of football. It's everything that came before.

And the rest is history.
