Sergio Aguero leaves City after 10 years

You've noted a possible money making position - bet on players not moving. Do you think that you're onto a winning strategy - most often correct? If so, you're going to be fabulously rich. Hugely so. Bill Gates rich.

On the other hand, I rather think that you have at best, a guess. Put your money on the line and become rich if you really think that this will win you money over the long term (or, quite frankly, do not, if you're addicted to gambling as you'll soon part with all your savings).
Don’t why you’ve made it a betting thing , I was just pointing out bookie odds is no guide to transfers they fluctuate wildly with stories. If they were a guide there would have been a report with it not just an a list of odds and advert with a link to a betting site.
You take i t as a sign he’s going to Chelsea if you like, I’ll wait for real news.

Bookie odds saying Chelsea 36% City 25%, hardly nailing their colours to the mast and a "stand out favourite".

They don't really have a clue, and when they do it ends up 1/6 not 7/4.

You're confused - the real news is this - he's likely to go to Chelsea more so than to City - given current knowledge - based on betting odds.

Hell, things change - and as a result opinions - and betting odds - change. The point is - right now - it seems that he's more likely headed to Chelsea than to us. Tomorrow may bring new knowledge/facts and a change of opinion.

If you are simply stating that opinion might change over time - given breaking news, or new information - then yes, I completely agree.

It seemed to me, however, that you were somehow arguing that bookie odds aren't the best prediction of outcome given current knowledge.

The real news is there is no news, and people are guessing based on rumours and speculation.

So post a link to a credible story then not just some odds and a bookie advert.
We've derailed this thread.

I've made my opinion as clear as possible. Further discussion seems pointless - if you want to continue for whatever reason start a new thread about why bookie odds are meaningless or irrelevant or whatever it is you feel - or PM me. I will not respond on this issue in this thread beyond this point.

Back on topic - Aguero has signed for Barca.

What do you think about Messi? Now that Aguero has signed, IMO, it's even more likely that Messi ends up at Barca next season.

As for Aguero's performances - as I've stated - he's still got gas in the tank - one or two more years at least at top form.

Aguero, unfortunately, has been injured a lot. But he's now healthy.

Is Aguero prone to injury at this stage of his career? - maybe. But, for me, KDB seems more injury prone.
