Couldnt agree more about Sergio’s ability, I want him to stay for one more season, few in the world are fit to lace his boots, even now..The best finisher of those chances you’re talking about is the player potentially making way for Ings.
Personally I’d keep Sergio if the replacement isn’t fit to lace his boots.
I’m more than comfortable with Aguero leaving btw. It’s probably the perfect time. Signing someone in their late 20’s to take his place, Not so much.
Makes no sense he is often a substitute, particularly away from home and it has gone on for 5 years. Can you imagine Serg being substitute to Danny F Ings, how degrading would that be
No point speculating about 'alternative timelines' - in this timeline he buried it and the rest is history!
Don't be sad he's gone, be happy he was here:)
Not sure if true, but makes sense to me:
We tried for somebody else that summer before signing Kun, anybody remember who it was?
No it wasn't Phil Jones.
Indeed it was, from Udinese if memory serves. He ended up signing for Pep at Barcelona and we signed Kun, didn't turn out too bad in the end.Alexis Sanchez?
Can’t see it if he’s demanding £600k a week. Wouldn’t go down well with Kev or Raz100% the case. There’s no way we’d let Aguero leave and just keep Jesus and sign another winger etc. City are going all out this summer for Haaland
