The best finisher of those chances you’re talking about is the player potentially making way for Ings.
Personally I’d keep Sergio if the replacement isn’t fit to lace his boots.
I’m more than comfortable with Aguero leaving btw. It’s probably the perfect time. Signing someone in their late 20’s to take his place, Not so much.

Couldnt agree more about Sergio’s ability, I want him to stay for one more season, few in the world are fit to lace his boots, even now..
The fact remains though that he’s going and we need a replacement pronto. I’m happy for Pep to make the decision, whether that be a superstar or an Ings..
We create more chances than most teams on the planet, we need a cool head and a proven finisher, get that and the skies the limit ..

Makes no sense he is often a substitute, particularly away from home and it has gone on for 5 years.

In 60 game season he is always going to be rotated.. It isn't like in the 80s when Rush would start and Aldridge was sub, and I doubt he would want to play twice a week.

Actually, even when I'm watching it for the umpteenth time (as I did yesterday), I still expect it to go wide of the post, or the keeper to get a hand on it. I especially hate that camera view from immediately behind the net. You know what's happened, but you somehow think it's going to be revoked. Because this is City.
It took a lot of balls to make that shot. He's not quite perfectly balanced, and there's not a lot to aim for. But Sergio has never lacked balls. Made of brass.

Not sure if true, but makes sense to me:

I guess it was always gonna be this way. Kun wouldn't have been our first choice striker past this season, considering his fitness. Hopefully, the club finds the best possible replacement for our legend.
