Just imagine.Been dreading the day that sergio leaves us. These past ten years he's felt part of my family. Probably been said already but I really admire his honesty as a top top player. A true professional and such a great role model for kids today. In those dying seconds when he scored THAT goal against QPR I wonder how many players would stay on their feet when they felt the contact from the defender ? So many cheats in the game today who go down with the slightest touch. Thank you Kun for your honesty, your humility and your ability to put that ball in the net for us on so many occasions. True legend.
If Kun had gone down in that moment, one of two things would have happened.
1. Penalty not given. No title etc.etc.
2. Penalty given.
Balotelli takes it and scores (like he always did!)
The Aguero moment would never have happened.
At best it would have been the Balotelliiii moment.
Serge had to stay on his feet, stay composed and take the glory.
It could have all gone wrong...
Farewell Sergio
