Very sad to hear he’s retiring.
We had the best out of him for sure.
We will always be the club he will be most closely associated with him.
He’s never really had the appreciation he deserved from others but we all know his importance in our history.
Would be fabulous to see him back here in a coaching role but doubt that would be at the top of his options list right now.
As far as I’m concerned he would definitely make the all time greatest 11 to have pulled on our shirt.
Thanks for everything Sergio.

Gutted for him, deserved a king send off.

Best Striker and a lovely bloke to.

Good luck to him and I hope his next phase of life is as successful as this one has been, as one of the best strikers in the world football. He should be very proud of what he's achieved for City, he helped bring City to where they're now and for that he'll always have a place in the hearts of every City fan. Thanks Kun.

Oh and he's welcome back for a brew around our gaff anytime, especially when I'm at work my wife says....she's soo caring!! ;^)

Come again?
Just wasn’t for me. Retiring a number for a player who then wasn’t ours, who tragically died on international duty and played for us for a year, also with reports at the time he was going pompey to play with Arry again. If anything should be retired it’s the number 8 but for me they never should be to start with. Just my opinion on it with zero disrespect to foe

A testimonial v Qpr with both teams as per that day , same managers with funds to Argentine/ British heart foundations works for me.

Great idea this a testimonial is perfect it could be a QPR and friends XI as many world class players would wanna participate, plus not a guarantee that all QPR players would be available for the occasion.
If he still loves it here too and plans on living here get him on the coaching staff or give him an ambassadorial role, if he feels there's unfinished business in football even though I'm not sure I can imagine Kun as a coach.

I'm not sure naming a stand after him is right just now is right as he's already getting a statue, naming a stand after someone is something you generally don't do until many years after they've stopped playing usually reserved for longstanding greats of a club/nation.

I'm not downplaying him in the slightest forever a legend here and Aguero's 93:20 moment will never be bested live for me I was there but I'm not even sure about naming a stand after him just yet, if we name a stand after him it could look premature we could genuinely in a couple decades have a couple strikers with 400+ goals for us with multiple Ballon d'Or wins, it's not out the question then surely they'd want stands naming after them too, that's without any defensive or midfield greats we may have or even possibly a long-term manager who even dwarfs Pep's success.

We should be happy for him having a stand for now I think naming a stand after someone is something that takes a lot longer than a few months after leaving, it's the sort of thing I'd like to see when Aguero or any other player is in their 50s if we ever do it.

The day we signed him I posted on Facebook "we've signed the man they call Kun, one letter short of what he's going to make Ferdinand and Vidic look like a right pair of."
He did just that to them and many more and exceeded my very high expectations of him having known about him for years, I'm grateful it was a pleasure to have seen him an absolute legend in every sense of the word, defo underappreciated in world football as a whole by many away from our own fanbase.

As long as he recovers and has a healthy life then nothing detracts from what an amazing career he’s had. He’s practically retired anyway so actually he can go and live a fucking spectacular life now with the most incredible memories and a shit tonne of cash. Could be worse.

Be well, Sergio. Enjoy your family and friends - your health is what matters.

You gave me the best moment of my sporting life. I doubt that will ever be topped.

An absolute giant of the game; both on and off the pitch.
