Compared to the kaka bid its peanuts.....would we then be labelled cheapskates.
 
He has awesome potential. Only issue is that if we did get him we'd have the same old issue of smaller players across midfield and forward positions. Just need Saviola for the whole mini lot. Would not be a problem if we played it on the ground a bit more.

But if we are looking at bringing in a big name in Jan then it could well be someone with a minimum fee release clause.

yup agree totally ^^

Which raises the point, if we are going to play attractive football we are going to have to distribute the ball better anyway from the back. SGE tried to get the keeper to pass it out, but we have lacked a bit of creativity and idea at the back sometimes. We pass it around, into midfield, back to the centre back, out left, centre back, keeper and whack....

Players like Aguero won't appreciate having to spend most of their time on the pitch competing for headers against the likes of Woodgate, Laursen and so on. Robinho did a surprisingly good job though against Wigan physically but we should be looking for our defenders to be the first link in the build up each time. I think the answer is already there - VK.
