My sources tell me that a key Barca player is signing for us this summer.

Tevez is "expected" to stay

Manchester City Face Battle With Inter Milan And Juventus For £42m Atletico Madrid Star

Estadio Vicente Calderón idol set for tug-of-war battle with Eastlands and Italian teams.

Atletico Madrid are desperate to hold onto star striker Sergio Aguero but fear a £42million bid from Manchester City will be too good to turn down.

AS reports the La Liga side want to build a team around the 22-year-old but expect bids from City, Inter Milan and Juventus.

The Argentine international has enjoyed his best season yet as a professional, scoring 20 league goals, and 39 in total.

Atletico are currently searching for a new manager but have a young and exciting team and see Aguero as a crucial cog in their machine.

Aguero’s agents are apparently in talks with a number of top European clubs, which Atletico are not happy about, with City being top of the list.

Blues’ manager Roberto Mancini likes the player, who is nicknamed ‘Kun’, and could be the perfect replacement for captain Carlos Tevez.

Tevez is expected to leave this summer for family reasons with a move to Italy or Real Madrid his most likely destination.

The 27-year-old will miss the open top bus tour around Manchester to showcase the FA Cup trophy in order to return home to Buenos Aires

would be a superb signing and reckon he would suit the premier league with his playing style.
