Sergio Aguero

I hope things wouldn't have got this far if Aguero wasn't open to the idea.
Look at the Sanchez bid, we didn't even get to the table really. We are there now because the player sees us as a viable option hopefully.
We've had our fingers burnt with this sort of transfer before, admittedly we didn't have the champions league or a trophy under our belt at the time. We wouldn't be at this stage if we didn't think it was a goer surely.
It would be hard to take being fooked over again, just to draw out interest from other clubs.
I can't see it happening this time (please god).

If we have signed him, how quick are those formal talks?

"Can we have him?"
"Yeah, £40m"
"Alright, thanks."
*phone down*

Medical tomorrow? I have a feeling that the next 10 days are going to be fooking interesting! Mancini wants the signings done by the end of this month. And there is still a few players to go.

The action has started and Aguero is the first one. Followed by Nasri and a few other blokes hopefully. :D

As soon as we sign kun tevez value drops alarmingly.
Don't follow

Me neither, why would Tevez value drop because another player signs? Tevez is worth whatever City value him at. The only influence on his transfer value dropping would be his contract being due to expire, which it isn't. I would actually say the opposite, if we have his replacement in the bag, the pressure to reduce the fee as the transfer window reduces is not an issue. City know they don't have to sell, so can stand firm on the price!

How reliable is this journo? And similarly, are Marca the Spanish equivalent of the Star or are they usually pretty decent?
