In a lot of his pics he seems to be with De Gae, some im sure they wouldnt mind living in the same city.

He could also live in the same city as Zaba !!

PLus Maxi aswell who he played alongside at Atletico. Unlike Sanchez if he moved it would be easy for him to settle in with the amount of Spanish speaking players in the north west and also players he played with at Am and in La Liga.
Not going to be easy to get him here but we've done it before with Silva so why cant we do it again?

My only concern over this deal,is how much shit could Kia and Tevez spouted !!
As long as the lad looks at the broader picture and see`s the calibre of players whose heads we have turned,Yaya,Silva,Balo, over the past 12 months and Zaba has had a stern word in his lug holes, then hopefully he`ll be in City shirt very soon.

Aguero isn't the same as Sanchez for the following reasons:

1.His agent has said he would welcome a move to England.
2.It's been said this will be sorted this week by his agent.

I wish people will stop panicking these things take time and a lot of negotiations.

Wrong - Barca shown their hand and when they did we was out - Aguero is no different - Real is his preffered choice the only difference is that Real have not bid yet? - i hope they are after Neymar but dont be so naive

Sanchez would have come to england had Brca not been in for him
The facts are we've still yet to land one of the top players in the world, Tevez isn't one really and was even less so when he joined us. There are half a dozen clubs around Europe that still have more pull than us. None of this should matter though as it's not the only way to skin a cat. It's already a fact Aguero wants to go to Real over us and I suspect he'd prefer Chelsea over us too if it were an option. I'd give us a fair chance but only because Athletico will like our offer best and Aguero doesn't seem to be a boat rocker!

Not directly related, but interesting to see Villas-Boas' comments today:

<a class="postlink" href="http://www.skysports.com/story/0,19528,11661_7055042,00.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://www.skysports.com/story/0,19528, ... 42,00.html</a>

"Lukaku had a magnificent season in Belgium," said Villas-Boas.

"We are pondering every decision because we don't want to go into the market and make mistakes.

"We have plenty of availability in terms of forwards who can play in different positions - with Anelka, with Kalou, Didier, Torres and Sturridge.

"This is the reality at the moment of our squad. We need to find the correct balance and this is why pre-season is important.

"On that decision, to bring in another forward, at the moment I don't think we will."

I remember some wummer on this thread (or a previous version of it) saying it was nailed on he was going to Chelsea; doesn't look likely now.

Now we just need Jose to sign Ade and say he doesn't need any more forwards!

Kia and Tevez will keep their mouths shut because they know if they do then they have a better chance of a move. If they come out spouting shit about the club then we will make Tevez rot in the reserves. People just need to calm down and be patient, we can now offer champions league football and i think that puts us on a par with Chelsea. The other top clubs have history and recent major trophy wins but Chelsea are a team in transition and i dont think they will be challenging for the league this year unless they pull off some major coups.

Just because no qoutes are in the media, doesn`t mean that this pair couldn`t have poisoned the player, whilst in private discussions during the Copa !!

Jesus Christ there's some right panic merchants on here, there is nothing to suggest Aguero doesnt want to come to us like numerous people have said these things take time.

If he isn't a City player come the 14th(16th) August I shall show my derriere on the town hall steps!!!
