If he wasn't fit then why was he on the bench?
He has taken up the shirt of a fully fit player who could have been given game time.
I think something is not quite right here, the transfer deal after medical took ages, Aguero goes to Dublin play's no part, goes to Wembley place on the bench and my god did we need someone to come on and change the game yesterday and he does not get on?
Instead we send good old Gareth Barry on.

no disrespect to Swansea. but if he doesn't play it's not a disaster, we shouldn't need him to beat them.
I'd rather give him a few weeks to get ready than rush him back.

I bet they have more than 50% of the possession next week, hopefully we'll still win 4.0 but I wouldn't underestimate Swansea

Agree with you there, Swansea will be well organised and hard to play against with Brendan Rogers as manager. So I don't think its going to be a walk in the park ...
