Sergio Aguero

Should we sell now whilst his value is highest it will ever be. Probably get £50m easy.

More made up bullshit from our wonderful press

European kings Bayern Munich want Manchester City hot-shot Sergio Aguero as a big-money signing for next season, writes Alan Nixon in the Sunday People.

Pep Guardiola has his sights firmly set on the little Argentinian striker and will try to tempt him to Germany in the summer.

Guardiola has been on Aguero’s trail for years and was keen to take him to Barcelona, but he did not have the finances to make it happen when he was at Atletico Madrid.

Now Guardiola is at Bayern and has real money plus the lure of chasing Champions League glory to offer for his top target.

Astonishingly, sources close to the Munich monster club reveal Guardiola would even offer Robert Lewandowski in exchange – once the Borussia Dortmund striker joins on a free.

Poland hitman Lewandowski is expected to sign for Bayern in time for next season, but that is a deal that was set up before Guardiola took charge.

The Spaniard is desperate to have Aguero in his line-up next season because he thinks the player has the skill and mobility to feed off his talented midfield.

Aguero has been in top form for City this season, leading the scoring charts and taking on the role as No.1 attacker.

The South American could be interested in the Bayern move next summer if City do not land a trophy or progess in Europe.

Money is not a motivation at this stage of his career - and Bayern can claim they are more of a power in the game than City after their recent Champions League mauling.

City would demand a staggering fee for Aguero - as much as £40 million - but Guardiola and his camp are already plotting the raid.

Loads to pick up on, not least the fact that the writer of that shite can't spell "progress" but £40M a staggering sum ? That's the going rate for a decent striker and well cheap for someone as accomplished as Aguero.
Including a player they don't actually own as part of the deal is pathetic even by the Mirrors standards.
Pure made up bullshit, probably written by a rag.

40 mill.is that for 1 foot. If bale is 80 mill my god Sergio could command the same if not more.

If spurs can get 80m for Bale who isn't world class city won't sell Aguero for less than that amount because that's the going rate for a world class player and we can rebuff any fee now with our owners

40 Million - good laugh that one.

Wouldn't go for anything less than at least 50 million.
