Despite what this forum may suggest, transfers don't happen overnight. Edu mentioned that they had been working on Jesus for 12 months and Zinchenko 6 months before completing. If the Gomez interest is true then it's been happening long before Kompany rocked up at Burnley. In fact TH mentioned him back in April, Burnley themselves would have been aware of our interest too.

I watched quite a lot of anderlecht last year, I don't think he's close to being ready to play regularly for city. However, he can learn under cancelo and be ready in a couple of years I think.

If he is learning from Cancelo defensively im worried :-)

UEFA Youth League champion, Euro under 17 and 19 champion and also the runner up to Foden in the 2017 player of the tournament at the u17 World Cup in 2017.

His career trajectory is clearly on the up.

Burnley would be a massive step down with all due respect to Vinny and Burnley themselves.

Fullbacks being able to defend is overrated. Hence why Walker is a rarity
